Wade Barret IF he goes Blue Team

Pre-Show Stalwart
This is my first thread so please go easy on me. I also have looked for a thread similar to this but have not found one. Please let me know if I was in error.

I believe that once Mister Barrett POSSIBLY makes a show jump I would see him going about continuing his NEXUS angle on Smackdown. I am a fan of Wade but cannot see him going on his own yet without falling into obscurity. Recruiting NXT or ignored members of the Blue Brand. I can see him doing this to further his issues he had in the past with the Undertaker. I highly doubt this higher power thing will ever come to be, but hopefully creative will remember what they started.

Also seeing as to Wrestlemania is around the corner I can see him challenging CM Punks neXus to a Winner take all match seeing as to Wrestlemania is all about interpromotional matches. I can see Skip Sheffield returning to his side as well. I would also like to see Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Geurrero along with Cody Rhodes join a Smackdown NEXUS. Though very doubtful but again this is all speculation.

My question to you all is this feasible? Who would you like to see in a Barret Smackdown NEXUS? Would you enjoy seeing a NEXUS vs neXus match at Mania? Please explain as to why also if you would.

Thanks in advance for any cheers, jeers, and have a great day all!

If Barrett were to head to SmackDown!, which I suppose is possible as he's no longer part of Nexus, then I could see him feuding with The Undertaker upon his return. Or, I should say, if Taker is able to return for WM and with enough time to build a feud between them.

As far as Barrett feuding with Punk for control of Nexus, it's not really feesible I don't believe. According to all reports, Nexus is coming to an end after WrestleMania due to the WWE Draft and I've heard nothing that suggests that idea has been changed. A feud with Punk could be possible as John Cena's overall condition is kind of up in the air at this point. If the WWE wants to protect John Cena for an extended period, make sure that he's given enough time to really recover from his hip injury, then it might be an interesting idea to sort of supplement Cena with an ally against this newly charged Nexus. The WWE isn't doing anything with Daniel Bryan at the moment and Bryan does need a feud. Given his history with Nexus and NXT in general, it makes sense. Bryan has a part of a big storyline feud, he gets his stock elevated, we've all been dying to see him and Punk feud anyhow & John Cena has someone to stand beside him and protect him while still keeping him as part of the storyline on television.

I think if he goes there it'll be perfect for Barrett. I mean if he did feud with Nexus what could he do except turn face? Not going to work well for Barrett. If he moves there he could go for the WHC and SD! need another heel with Kane retiring soon and maybe Ziggler moving up the ranks:

Heels:
Alberto Del Rioo
Wade Barrett
Dolph Ziggler

Face:
Edge
Rey Mysterio
Big Show
Undertaker

Mysterio & Taker are going to retire soon so WWE do need to put more established superstars on the blue brand.

JackHammer brings up a valid point. What would be the point of feuding with Punk while he's on SD for Nexus?? Besides, Punk will have his own problems with Otunga who is still an ego-maniac lurking underneath his 'A-List' looks according to Otunga's own ego. You know this 'honeymoon' won't last forever. Why should Wade worry?? I think he may have one or two fights with Punk, if even that, and be on to better pastures in Smackdown. If the dirtsheets are correct, with Nexus being the 'higher power' for Undertaker being 'taken out' then it shall be shortly it will be revealed if it was Punk or Barrett, my money is on Barrett, especially with rumors of them battling at WM27 since Punk is focused more on Cena now. Whatever this being, I am a HUGE fan, obviously, and ri-donk-ulously. I am trying to remain optimistic about this, and hoping that this is what he needs to get his singles career off the ground. We all know that hopefully he will fare better than Kaval (heaven willing), he has the mic skills, the talent, and has impressed people backstage so far, so I guess at this point its a wait and see and just keeping our fingers crossed.
