Vince Russo blasting mid 90s wwf booking

Getting Noticed By Management
Vince Russo always said in interviews that before he took over booking in wwf, the product was lame with guys like the Goon and Mantaur. Then in the late 90s with McMahon overseeing he turns things around. Anyway the wcw product in the late 90s and into 2000 wasn't much better than wwf in 95 and 96. Actually i think wwf then was better than wcw was in 2000 under Russo's watch. What do you think?

Yeah that's Russo. I remember as teen reading WWF Magazine Vic Venom would wail on these guys with stupid gimmicks and thinking hey this guy is dead on. The booking was horrific but then the same guy made horrific booking in Dubya C Duubya. The only difference between the two was Vince was his filter in WWF and when he got down south he didn't have that and the product suffered though not 100% responsible. Vince Russo does have a great mind but he's a person who needs a superior with balls that tells him NO let's not do this. If TNA had that they would've been better plus they do have too many cooks in the kitchen.

My favorite wrestlers were always Bret, HBK and the Undertaker, so I kinda liked it when they were running the show in the mid 90's. wasn't a fan of Diesel, though.

If I was older in those years, I'm pretty sure I would have been a WWF guy and would have looked at wCw as an alternative..

So says the man who created a stable with wrestlers named Major Gunns and Hugh G. Rection. And after that company went belly up created a stable with guys dressed up like Elvis and The Johnsons, a tag team of guys wearing penis suits in a fed named T N A. :suspic:

^Exactly. He is such a hypocrite! The crap he wrote or booked in wcw in late 99 and 2000 was worse than the "lame" product wwf was in 95 and 96. Also he thinks that he changed all that with the attitude era. The attitude era was a ripoff of the ecw product. I don't know what that was in wcw when he booked it.
