Hope they push him.

Looks like a star, isn't bad in the ring, but the best thing about him is that he's charismatic, hilarious and gold on the mic.

Not to mention we've never had a real black WWE champion. The Rock kinda counts but whatever.

Only thing that's kind of a negative is his age, he's 36, but fuck it, that's ten years the junior of the man main eventing Wrestlemania this year. As a matter of fact, ten years ago, Batista was 36 on the brink of getting the biggest push of his life.

I guess Vince logic is why push him over guys like Cena and Orton who are around his age and already proven money makers, but giving him one or two runs with the strap or even just a few high profile feuds could do wonders as far as freshening up the WWE product that is desperately in need of new main event players (and more specifically, main event heels . . . I can't think of anyone other than Orton and maybe Bray Wyatt). A transitional summer feud against Bryan for the strap for a PPV or two could do wonders for O'Neal and the overall entertainment value of RAW.

Titus O'Neil is one of the few entertaining dudes in an environment where promos are limited by the overly cautious boundaries set by stockholders, sponsors and the McMahon's political endeavors.

Push this man to the moon. Why not? Certainly more entertaining that guys like Sheamus or Del Rio.

I really like what titus did with his promo on raw champion spelled t i t u s was gold gives him a really fresh character the hungry for gold kinds and with his decent in ring skills and just the look that he has it should do good for him.
But i dnt see i title shot coming anytime soon. Honestly i feel its too early he needs to feud with a few big names after he completes his darren young story.......with the shield possibly breaking up u could make him the muscle doing the dirty work for authority that could give him alot of much needed exposure.......a year into it he could be a big main event heel but then again he needs to create a lot of havoc in and outside the ring before that

WWE has far too many faces than heels and with Reigns and Cesaro likely to turn face and WWE kinda turning Christian heel this it what it looks like at the moment:

Face - Cena, Bryan, Batista, Sheamus, Cesaro, Reigns and Big E

Heels - Orton, Lesnar, Del Rio, Wyatt, Christian, Ambrose and Rollins

There is far too many faces compared to heels especially at a main event level so its time WWE create some main event heels and while Titus is not a main event guy I think its good to get another heel on the list especially as Lesnar is a part timer and Christian will probably get injured soon. Also this is why I would keep Reigns heel and have him join with Lesnar and let Rollins be the one who turns face

Titus is charismatic has da look and decent n ring ability. Would njoy seeing him feud against big e over ic strap or as muscle 4 authority as stated earlier. I just hope wwe doesn't drop da ball and give him lackluster feuds.

Did Titus O'Neil's promo remind anyone else of Richard Sherman's NFC Championship post-game rant? That's what I thought when he started yelling towards the end of it.

Edit: I do hope that he gets a decent push. Maybe we'll see some matches between Titus and Roman Reigns somewhere down the road.

I'm not fully excited for Titus yet, but that's not to say that he won't turn into something great, I just need to see more in order to get excited. I am very pleased though that even with it being WrestleMania season they are still trying to bring up new stars. Lets face it (not to just off subject) but we can only see the part timers so many times until we just don't care, so the fact that they are still trying so hard to bring up new stars is a great thing. As far as my feelings of can he make it big, he for sure has the looks, and the charisma which really looks good for him, will that translates into something we can all get behind and cheer or boo only time will tell, but I am glad he's getting this chance.

I thought it was a great promo. O'Neil was entertaining and got his point across. He has a great look and has potential. He can be a solid mid-carder no doubt. I doubt he will ever be a top star but he is a useful guy.

It would be great if he got pushed to the main event. I always thought he was great. Never really liked Darren Young, and it just feels weird seeing him getting the upperhand when assaulting Titus. I hope they go ahead and drop the O'neal part, just like they dropped "Antonio" and "Langston". I think he would seem more dominant if he was called Titus. I bet he would get some great heat if he made some very subtle gay jokes at Darren Young during their feud.

Wow, I would not have guessed he was 36. I like Titus a lot and wish the PTP would've gotten a run as tag team champs. His promo as Rufus "Pancake" Patterson killed me. He's a solid worker and good on the mic. I can see him getting into the IC or US Title picture eventually, around SummerSlam. If they keep the IC Title with Big E, he and Titus could put on a very good match imo.

Did Titus O'Neil's promo remind anyone else of Richard Sherman's NFC Championship post-game rant? That's what I thought when he started yelling towards the end of it.

Lol I thought I was the only one who saw that similarity, not only on Raw but also when he was interviewed by her on Smackdown.

I bet they will have him and her doing a lot of interviews together with him wilding out to recreate that Erin Andrews - Richard Sherman dynamic.

Great promo. This guy is hilarious. Let him talk every week and he'll be over like rover. Also love the screaming and yelling. Reminds me of golden era promos with all those awesome OTT characters that the product is missing these days.

I wish AW didn't get fired. The Prime Time Players would've been a more successful tag team and I feel they would've actually won the tag titles. But that's not what we were dealt with so WWE has yet again, split up an entertaining tag team in a division which looked promising for a bit and is now lacking again. Darren Young coming out is the only factor that could save him from being tossed into the category with Ryder and JTG. WWE will probably be criticized for being homophobic if he doesn't at least get a little push. Titus is by far the more entertaining half of the PTPs, and with his fun heel character, him being a singles wrestler will probably be far more exciting than his time with Young. IMO.

I like Titus O'Neil. I think that he's decent in the ring, but his standing point is his wacky humour & charisma as stated in the OP. Him & Big E both have this similar personality where even though they're these beastly guys, they're pretty funny on the whole.

However, Titus has his heel persona now & that will (hopefully) be kicked off with a win over Darren Young at Elimination Chamber. A move up through the ranks would eventually be a nice thing to see, possibly winning one of the midcard titles. Do I see Titus holding the WWEWHC?

Yes, but ONLY as a one-time Champion, with the aid of the MiTB Briefcase. It won't be anything like CM Punk's wins with the case, or even The Miz. But probably more a Jack Swagger type. Titus can use the briefcase to huge heel heat, getting the win over somebody like John Cena, possibly later this year (or 2015, but he'll be 38 then & it could die out). I see him holding it for a few months before losing it to either the face that he defeated, or somebody else who's finally moving up.

There could be big things for Titus out there, we just have to hope.

Well, they were high on Ziggler and Sandow too for a while and that hasn't led anywhere.

Let's hope he gets a better chance to show what he has to offer.

I bet he would get some great heat if he made some very subtle gay jokes at Darren Young during their feud.

Not going to happen. Worst case scenario would be he starts making anti-gay remarks and people laugh, and he gets over for it. Then the WWE has to answer to GLAAD again.
