Videogames You Want to See Receive 3D Remakes

In a perfect world, this would work. So let's not be all realistic and pretend that this IS a perfect world.

What 2D game would you like to see remade in 3D, and why?

For me, it would be The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Link's Awakening is one of my favorite Zelda games, ever. It had a great, emotional story, some intuitive and unique puzzles in dungeons, and just felt huge and epic, even if it was just a Game Boy game. I would LOVE to be able to slash through Tal Tal Mountain Range or go through Eagles Tower in full 3D, possibly with Wind Waker or Skyward Sword-esque graphics and updated and remastered music. I'd love for more people to be able to experience the awaesomeness that is Link's Awakening, and to be able to experience it in a whole new way would be incredible.

I've said it once before, but I'll say it again:

Zelda II: The adventure of Link

This gave the Zelda series: Villages, the triforce of courage, Dark Link. At the time it was VERY well received, but what is it lacking? Well the new games of the series arrived and game play was more like the first one, with the odd game play and very hard difficulty mixed with the very dated graphics this had lead many to think it's a bad game. If this was remade in 3D graphics, it would go down a storm.

Any game in the Football Manager series, mostly due to the fact that I've always liked the FIFA games, and I think Football Manager, while it would take a lot extra to implement 3D into the game, it would give it a completely new experience into it.

Other than that I have to admit there's a very limited amount of 2D games I have played that could properly be implemented into 3D, mostly due to a lot of them being strategy games, but if I really had to choose something else, I would say Heroes Might and Magic, at least I would think that's a 2D game, and I would absolutely love to watch it in a 3D based game play, because of the fighting scenes that would look much better if in 3D, but that's again the place where I'm in doubt whether it is already 3D or 2D

I'm gonna have to go with the 2 original "Metal Gear" games. Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Both of them, with the graphics of todays MGS games, remastered music, and voice acting? Those 2 games would immediately be best sellers. I played them both in their original forms and had fun with it, in 3D, it would be badass. To hear the voice acting as Snake learns Big Boss betrayed him, and Gray Fox piloting Metal Gear-D... Total badass-ery.

Final Fantasy 6.

Just look at how well FF3 and FF4 did when they got the 3D remakes, those remakes were incredible and every bit as good as the originals. FF6 is one of the most popular RPG's of all time, and Square-Enix would make a fortune on a 3D remake of it. They could give new abilities to a couple of the characters, and even FINALLY include a reviving Leo sidequest that fans have been begging for ever since the early 90's. The GBA exclusive sidequest where you fought the Czar Dragon could be included as well. I personally would love to see how FF6 would look if it got a remake similar to FF3 and FF4 because I'd get to see one of the best RPG's get a modernized update and see what it would be like with the graphical treatment it deserves. However, all the mistakes would have to be corrected (Pearl = Holy, Fire3 = Firaga, Chupon = Typhoon, etc!) and those corny one liners from the infamous Ted Woolsey could be taken out to include the intended script too. There is honestly no reason why this shouldn't happen, none!

EDIT: The FF6 soundtrack receiving an upgrade as well would be AWESOME, the original was so great to begin with!

I would like to see a fighting game or a fifa/PES game, like tekken, or street fighter, just all the kicks and punches would be like. the newest Football Manager (which has 3D players) is great, I enjoyed playing it, thoroughly, having that in 3d would be even better. And last but not least, my all time favourite game, Kingdom Hearts (the first one). Fighting would be out of this world, and all the bosses and the heartless' would be intence. Those games are the ones I would love.
