I've expressed my tantrums in the "Broken Controllers" thread, in the Video Games section of the forum. However, the quick answer would be yes.
Golden Eye: During the last mission (not the unlocked hidden ones, but the Cradle mission) I got so irate and pissed off that I threw the controller down. I was getting majorly annoyed because I was doing everything I felt was humanly and video gamingly possible to kill the main enemy, however "bad guys" continuously just kept reappearing behind me and killing me. I hated the unrealisticness of the game for that.
Online Play: The only time I've ever become frustrated online, is when I'm attempting to play Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. So many people cheat like f*cking crazy on that game. There are specific moves that are uncounterable. And other moves that you can hit so quick that you can't counter them (which is one in the same I'm sure) and because of that, you get screwed out of the match.
I had one guy literally keep me against the ropes and non-stop do that 3 punch combo and because I was against the ropes, I couldn't fall, so I could counter. He repeated and repeated and repeated until my guy was busted open and in the dark red. He then pinned me, without me getting even one move off. Its shit like that, that pisses me off.
Another issue was with N.B.A. 2K7, I was losing by 2, and I went for a 3 pt. shot. The guy paused the game, RIGHT before I was able to release the ball, then when I was like "what the f*ck?!" he unpauses it and I miss, resulting in me losing the game. He paused it because I had been hitting 3's the entire game and I had a team (Suns) who in that game were practically unstoppable with them.
The only time I've ever been on the reverse end of this.. would be regarding Madden. If I'm losing in Madden I'm fine with it because I LOVE how close games can be. But one example of me beating the odds, then my opponent QUITTING the game because he couldn't handle it.. I was losing.. LOSING 24-0. It went to half, I got the ball to start the 3rd. I scored off a return. (24-7) His first play is an INT, that I return for a TD (24-14) his next possession he runs down the field, in FG range, then fumbles the ball, I recover. (4th quarter is reached by him running non-stop) I march down field with passing plays, ending in another TD. (24-21) He attempts running again, and I stuff him. He has to punt, but instead goes for it. (on his own f*cking 20)
I stop him, then end up scoring a TD with under 2 minutes left. He starts cursing me, and says I'm cheating. He then leaves with like 45 seconds remaining. I had to finish against the cpu (which I believe the cpu is always on all madden, during online play) and almost STILL lost.. but ended up winning. So when I won, the guy I played against still took a loss. I took a win. I sent him a message saying he was a sore loser and just didn't know how to manage, and that "I" even admitted to getting extremely lucky. HE REPORTS ME, SAYING I WAS BEING UNSPORTSMEN-LIKE!
