Un[Official] I Loved the 80's Remembrance Thread:

So, I grew up in the 80's and a lot of great music came from the 80's and early 90's to me. I'd like to highlight one band in specific right now - that made me retro back to the 80's, however this thread is for anyone who craves older music from back during this time period.

Jefferson Starship, or as I knew them.. Starship.

This was the first song I knew them for, and loved every minute of it when it was on the radio. I have no honest idea why, but there was just something about the beat and the lyrics that always mesmerized me each time.

I heard this song on the radio on the way to work the other day and it blew my mind. It made me realize how much great music there was back during the time period in which I grew up, that I missed so much of and never understood just how amazing it really was until now.

Staying on the Starship page, this was the other major song by them, that I loved from the moment I heard it. Its a bit of a sad song, to me, and I've actually (and ironically) paired it to one of my best friend's, named Sara.

Its a very strong song, and means more to me to this day than a lot of other songs likely ever will.

Beyond Starship, I held a ton of artists as favorites from this time. Ranging from White Snake, to Bon Jovi, to Def Leppard. What are some of your favorite songs and artists from the 80's? Please make sure to add as much detail and reasoning behind your favorites as possible. Don't simply say you loved a song, or an artist. Try giving reasoning behind why. Thank You.
