UFC 158 - St. Pierre vs Diaz

I would have taken a point away for that swing at the end of the 3rd. That is such bullshit. I give him credit, he has stopped a decent number of George's takedowns but that is a bullshit move.
 
Not what I expected, but hey, i'm not complaining. Don't care about the sportsmanship at the end of the fight. Nick lost all my respect taking a swing at the end of the third.
 
How often do you see two guys who truly hate each other go 15 or 25 minutes, then hug it out at the end? Got a problem with a guy, just beat the shit out of each other for a bit.

Hit one headkick and knocked him down. Hit some ground and pound for 15 seconds, GSP got up and regained his composure and went on to win the round. Outside of those 30 seconds or so, complete domination. Beat Condit worse in the standup than he did Nick.

Condit landed one lucky kick. But GSP dominated Condit more than he did Diaz.

Anyways, classy post fight interview by GSP. Can't help but have all the respect in the World for him. And as far as Diaz... the guy is a character. I love him no matter what.
 
I dislike them, but there is a part of me that enjoys seeing them lose. I don't dislike Nate as much as Nick, but I enjoyed watching Bendo beat Nate a lot.
 
Nick got this cause he aint pampered! Doesnt have a couch either! He just squats. GSP has guys doing his squats for him!

Diaz makes everything that much more interesting. I understand why there's a group of people who hate his guts, but hopefully they also understand why Nick has such a passionate and loyal fanbase. He's such a unique and interesting person... so different from anyone that you've ever seen or met. He says what's on his mind and wears his heart on his sleeve. And not to mention he's a hell of a fighter who always does his damnedest to put on a great show.

You can call him a punk and think he's a horrible person, but the fact is... he doesn't have a criminal record, he lets unprivileged kids train at his school for free, he'll give a homeless person all the money in his pocket, he cares more about his friends and family than he does himself, he's a big fucking hippy who lives a vegan lifestyle.... yet, he's also a bad ass motherfucker who would never back down to anybody. Like I said, he's like no one walking this planet Earth. Does he whine? Does he make excuses? Does he have trouble expressing himself? Absolutely, I can't deny all that, but that doesn't make him a terrible person.
