Tyson Kidd's future

TheNew_ApexPredator

"The Apex Predator of the WWE"
Tyson Kidd is back in the ring, he is in a team with Ricardo Rodriguez under the team name of Los Locales. they have been wrestling on Smackdown.
Is this him just warming up for his return or is this his future with Rodriguez?
Tyson Kidd (in my opinion) is a great wrestler he might not be main event material but he is good in the the ring, He can build up a fan base as a face and work is way up to face the United states or Intercontinental Champion! A feud with Ambrose sounds good to me :)! I hope Tyson comes back stronger than ever, i can see him a a 1 time World champion if done right !
i would like to see him by himself i dont think he needs a partner, maybe a manger but no more tag teams! Natalya would be a good choice, she can move away from The Great Khali and Hornswoggle (which seems like a pointless team) and make a power couple Tyson Kidd and Natalya!!!!

what do you guys think?

I agree that Tyson Kidd, given the proper push, could have a short mid card title run. IC or US Title, no difference. But that's it. His mic skills are beyond bad to the point of nonexistant. No one that bad will ever make it to the main event scene. He makes John Morrison look like Ric Flair on the mic. Mid card titles are as far as anyone like that will ever go.

But really, he's a great guy for a tag team. Tag teams don't talk as much and if they do, I'm sure he'll be paired with someone better on the mic. Plus he doesn't have the presence to maintain a good singles run. He doesn't stand out whatsoever, but as a part of a high flying, fast paced tag team he would be fun to watch. I know a lot of people around here like him a lot because he can wrestle multiple styles and can be fun to watch, but skills like that are not as important as those same people want to think when it comes to getting over.

But that's it.

Yes, that's it. Honestly, I don't even see mid-card heaven for him, although with the proper gimmick and a push from management (especially the latter), most decent performers can accomplish a surprising amount.

Thing is, Kidd is a superior wrestler, one of the best technicians around. His background is certainly solid and management knows what they're getting when someone comes in who's been trained in Calgary. The problem is that there are many, many people who can perform well in the ring.....and the few that can't have some outstanding feature that keeps them on our TV screens (for instance, The Great Khali's height).

If Tyson Kidd can find a way to capitalize on this chance, all the power to him. Still, it's ironic to think his best chance of success is marrying into it; Natalya may be "just" a diva, but she's also a bona fide member of the Hart family.....and if association with her can give Tyson a career boost, I think that would be great. You take your edges wherever you can.

I would hope that its just a way to get him some work on live or tapped programs to work out whatever ring rust he has. Especially with the total divas show and Kidd being married to Natalia, I would have to think WWE has a plan for him when he's fully ready to go.

I still see him as one of those people who need to be in a tag-team as he is a tag team specialist. I appreciate his talent and solid in-ring skills, but I just don't see him needing to be an IC/US champion (I'd be happy if he was). He should go down as one of those Tag-Team greats. Probably pair him up with Justin Gabriel or Mason Ryan or someone.

The biggest thing tyson kidd has got lately is a total diva's spot,
wwe just doesn't see to much talent in tyson, there's no spot for tyson other than the complete jobber, the los locale's is to soon, we already have los matadores, for this guy's to start wrestling as masked mexican wrestler's makes me wanna scream! why when wwe does something good they have to do it over again! im sick of wwe pushing masked wrestler's on us, and most of them are'nt even from mexico! wwe really think's they can trick us? i mean come on,
tyson kidd has a future in wwe, but if your meaning a push i wouldn't hold my breathe, tyson overall is a good wrestler thats it! bad acting, bad gimmick, bad name, and you guessed it bad mic skill's, why push little tyson kidd? when tyson kidd is a dime a dozen.

Tyson Kidd has great technical talent but he is very small and WWE already has Bryan in that role. I would pair him with Big E to have the combination of Speed and Power.

According to a report on wrestlinginc.com, originally sourced from the WON, Triple H wants to put more focus on the tag team division in WWE going forward. The initial idea was to get some teams ready in NXT to bring up to the main roster and put some teams together from talented guys on the main roster who are underutilized. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel were specifically mentioned as a team that could pop up very soon.

There was talk way back about making Kidd & Gabriel a tag team. If I'm not mistaken, this was first talked before Kidd was injured. All in all, I think Kidd & Gabriel would make a fun addition to the tag team. Kidd & Gabriel are talented but I don't see main event potential in them, so the gat team scene would be a good place for them at this point in time. After all, WWE doesn't really have a team of high flyers.

Tyson Kidd is great in the ring but has the problem that he isn't going to deliver fantastic promos. That is the only thing keeping him back from being a top level star. Of course, theoretically, he could improve but I doubt he can improve any further than being a mid-carder or tag-team wrestler.

I did say he shouldnt be in a tag team but pairing him up with Mason Ryan would be a good idea! They can both benefit from this and after there finished with the tag teams maybe have a feud and they bot go after the US or IC? But pairing the two would be a good way to go as both of them need tv time!

Mustang Sally said it, lots of guys can wrestler really well. Sometimes they just don't have anything else that makes them stand out. I could see Tyson Kidd get a run with the IC/US title, but I just can't see him getting any farther than that right now. I think a tag team would be the best place to utilize him. It would give him screen time, and would also help make the tag division stand out again. I could see him getting a push in a team with Gabriel as other have mentioned, but i can't see anymore than that.
