Because if an announcer sells the moment as huge, you feel it. That's the case in any sport and in wrestling. Plus, the crowd helps too. It builds the moment. Think about playoff games in sports. If the crowd was silent, would you feel the magnitude of the moment? What if the announcer had no emotion? Those things do factor into the moment that can be created.

Well sometimes the crowd can either enhance the experience or ruin it. Think of what Rock/Hogan wrestlemania match would have been like without the great Toronto crowd going crazy for that match.
