Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
This feud is one of the best things going right now. Steiner has returned to form, and is cutting some amazing promos. Even when he's not in matches, he's working segments to sell this story. Lashley has done well with it also, and since he hasn't cut many promos, he hasn't had a chance to ruin it either.

If they both turn it on like they did at BFG, this could be a surprise match, with both men giving their all. Let's hope they don't blow it, and put on a snoozefest.

Even in the dark days and the final waning years of WCW, Steiner was getting pushed quite heavily. He def has an attitude with him and he draws people into the heel character quite effortlessly.

What's with these "woman-izer" storylines for him though? This happened in WCW with DDP's Kimberly and it didn't go over too well. This isn't exactly on the same horrendous booking scale of that storyline, but they need to find Steiner a new angle other than taunting and corrupting other dudes' women!

I do like Lashley, though. Shows promise.

This should be a decent match at best I see Lashley going over but by dq or countout or something just so they can continue this feud. I can also see Kristal turning on Bobby and join Scott Steiner for a couple months

I mean what is really the point of having Kristal involved in this feud if all she is going to do is saved by Bobby.

To be honest, I have no real interest in this match. Steiner has cut some good promos and Lashley's overall reaction towards Steiner's advances towards his wife has pushed the angle along nicely, but I just don't care about it.

I guess one reason why I don't care about it is because it's just ultimately pointless filler. Like most people, I don't see Lashley losing here. I don't believe that TNA is really going to do anything all that relevant with Lashley anytime soon and, after turning point, he'll be on to another random feud that'll last another month. Piss break.

This should be decent as well. I don't think I'd go as far as NSL and call this "one of the best things going", but it's been entertaining thus far. I've always been a mark for Steiner so I'm glad to see him looking like he's got a bit of new motivation both in the ring and in his character now. Lashley hasn't pissed me off too much since coming to TNA, and I absolutely despised the man during his WWE run. He works much better as a badass then as the soft-hearted face, who always just came off as a massive pussy.

I imagine Lashley will get the win here.

I'm partial to this match because the feud is personal. Those feuds always seem to work best for me, and it's definitely working to bring out the best in Steiner and Lashley. We have yet to see them actually work together in the ring, but if their recent work is any indication, this shouldn't fail to pay off early in the show.

Ya know...this is surprising to me...I'm actually interested. Like you all here...I see lashley winning. I wish though that they'd surprise me and actually keep the feud going til the jan ppv, have steiner take the match here and involve kristal in this match some how

Oh I'm sure the feud will keep going. This is the best either can do for right now, so why end it? Kristal will either turn next week, or at the PPV, and Lashley will snap and try to maim Steiner. If he doesn't get the win, like we all seem to think he will, then he'll lose via disqualification. Then hopefully we'll get some decent promos from him, and see what kind of legs this really feud has.

I just hope Lashley's wife doesn't become an on air personality like Karen Angle was a few years back. We all know what occurred after that fiasco. I think it's an unwritten rule in the wrestling business that you don't bring your wife's or girlfriends in the business with you if you want to keep them. Hopefully this will be short term for her and for Lashley's sake.

I like that this feud is personal but we have seen it before and you can pretty much guarantee Lashley is going over in this one. If Steiner does win, there is no way he will go over cleanly. Maybe Lashley's old lady will turn on him as a twist. Just like Terri Runnels or Francine.

Kristal turns into a 'freak'. Slaps Lashley in the face and poses with Steiner in the ring ALA Trish/Christian/Jericho type thing. Although Kristal has no presence in TNA, this will create a decent feud for the coming months.

If Steiner survives that long. Lol.

Personally, looking at the line-up of matches being announced for this PPV, it's turning out to be a genuinely interesting and solid line-up. Steiner and Lashley is yet another great addition.

Thus far, the feud has brought the best out of both parties. Steiner is working an angle that's both entertaining and believable for him and Lashley has been given an edge he's lacked previously.

Something tells me that, at best, Lashley wins by DQ. I don't see a clean winner coming this early in the feud.

The feud is interesting but it sort of makes me think of an old wwe/f feud from years back it was Rick Rude and I think Ricky Steamboat or maybe Jake the Snake I forget who. Rick had Jake/Ricky's wife pictured on his tights.

I have to disagree with most coments I have read.....
Steiner is old now.... Its ok for a mma guy to kick his ass..... Now I mean a massive ass kicking.... Like maybe a 5 minute sqwash match!

there is more....

Steiner being a former wcw champion can't just take that ass kicking lightly!
This is where the MEM comes in!

Next couple of PPV's Lashley Drops Every MEM member they put up to him!
Lashley = Black Goldberg!
Have lashley build an impressive record. Then screw him out of the title just like Nash vs Goldberg.... With MMA in the sight of Lashley..... losing is not an option!

:wtf: No...Not going to happen. Steiner has been phenomenal lately, both in the ring, and on the stick. His job here is to carry Lashley to the main event, and give him a decent fight on the PPV. There's no way this is a squash, or less than 5 minutes.

Ahh...OK. You just haven't been watching. Excuse my last :wtf: then. There is no more MEM. After Steiner, there's no one left for Lashley to "drop". This feud is not over at Turning Point. It'll be the first of many battles between the two...Lashley wins here though, and Kristal turns.

You're referencing the classic feud between "Ravishing" Rick Rude (one of my all-time favorite performers, bar none) and Jake "The Snake" Roberts (another of my classic favorites!). It started when Jake's wife Cheryl was in the audience and Rude tried to kiss her. After that, Rude went on to wrestle for at least a month with Cheryl's face air-brushed on his tights.

And, unlike that caricature of Kristal "Big Poppa Pump" had on his shirt recently, Rude's tights really looked like Cheryl. It incited "The Snake" and made this one a feud for the ages!

Right now, if TNA builds this one properly (so far, so good!), Lashley/Steiner has the makings for another classic. I don't see Lashley going over Steiner by pinfall here. Somehow, I see Lashley winning by DQ and the feud amping up another notch.

I'm fairly sure Steiner ended tonight's segment telling Lashley "your baby's eyes are mine", implying he fathered the baby. If that is how it ended, it's a bit over the top, and that's being way too kind.

Vince Russo's fingerprints are all over this, and it really makes me sad. This was a good angle, and was fine going into Sunday, and may have been ruined before it really took off. I hope they don't try and go with something that personal...It'd be a real shame.

I think Steiner said that just to incite Lashley and question his manhood, as Freakzilla does in just about every one of his feuds. It's nothing new, and nothing surprising when it comes to Steiner. He's not one to really mince words. But then again, neither is Vince Russo, so I see your point NSL.

Nevertheless, this feud still has some steam, and should make for a physical match at the PPV. It would be epic if Big Poppa Pump showed up to the ring with Kristal's face airbrushed on his tights, or that horrible shirt...so horrible it was hilarious.

I can feel the Kristal heel turn coming here. Pretty sure she's been coming on to Steiner during all of those segments, or I could be completely wrong. This shouldn't be bad, Steiner doesn't suck as much as people say he does and Lashley is decent enough. A good 10 minutes slugfest sounds good with Lashley getting screwed outta the win.

I agree with the potential of a Kristal heel turn, as sadly predictable and overdone as that type of storyline is. As far as Steiner's in ring skill, I'll say it's nowhere near as good as it once was, but kind of like Keiji Mutoh(to a much MUCH lesser extent) he's managed to adapt his style to fit his new size. This should be a fun little match.

I was a little surprised at the outcome here. I figured Steiner would win, but from what I read, it seemed like he dominated the match. This is probably building to the Kristal heel turn we're all speculating, but we'll have to wait and see.

Either way, I see this feud being done at Final Resolution. Lashley has bigger things ahead of him, and we all know Steiner's best days are well behind him. They'll probably both be in the Feast Or Fired Match, and I predicted Steiner grabbing the "Fired" case.

This match was just straight up fun. The added stipulation of no disqualification, pinfalls count anywhere really helped this match out, as both Steiner and Lashley are more entertaining in a hardcore brawl. These two quickly headed to the backstage area and had a good old fashioned hardcore knockout brawl, and I loved it. Seeing Steiner go psycho on the Spanish announcer's table and the scaffolding was awesome, and I'm so glad they gave Steiner the win here.

This was a perfect booking too. Putting this match on right before the two in-ring heavy main event matches of Joe vs. Daniels vs. AJ and Desmond vs. Angle was a smart move, giving the crowd a chance to get into some brawling before settling down into amazing in-ring action.

Really just a fun brawl, through and through. Thoroughly enjoyable.

3.5/5

This match was actually pretty good, the wrestling wasn't but it was out right entertaining, thankgod though for it being falls count anywhere. This match had some nice spots such as the suplex through the table or the missed spear through some of the furniture, one part I did not like was Steiner hitting the frankensteiner and I thought Lashley was going to get hurt but gladly he didnt. It was a nice touch at the end with Steiner hitting him with a pole. Out of a possible 5 stars it gets a 3.
