Exactly what Brain said whilst adding that I think Kharma seems like the obvious choice providing she's ready, whilst seeing as she already managed to compete a month ago, albeit to a small degree, she ought to be ready for mania time. Before anybody goes there, The Rock is not at all the same thing.

I would enjoy a Trish vs Beth match at Mania more than I would enjoy a Kharma vs Beth match. I feel it is way to soon for Kharma to be facing Beth.
I just don't see the need for it. Kind of egotistical to just think you can show up for the biggest show of the year and disappear again and expect everyone to just accept it and thank you for it.

But unlike the men's division the women's division doesn't have allot of extra of even potential star power. The mere fact that some fans seem to be dead set on Kharma vs Beth tells me that they are hoping that the women's spot on the card is filled with something other than a pisspoor gimmick match.
I see nothing wrong with Trish vs Beth; you have the greatest women's wrestler ever vs the champ who currently looks unstoppable. It would make for a great show.
I have the same problem with this idea that I had with Booker vs. Cody. When asked if he was going to make a full time comeback Booker said he hadn't thought about it. What did he expect to do as IC champ if he was not coming back? Trish has no business winning the title if she does not intend to come back full time.
I agree with Echelon in that it is too soon for Beth/Kharma. The problem with this matchup is, where do you go from there? Whoever comes out of that rivalry will end up looking so dominant that it will be difficult to take Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, the Bellas, or any of the other models seriously as competitors for her afterwards. I think they need to delay the Beth/Kharma feud a little longer. Give Kharma some time to get herself back into shape after her pregnancy. Let the build and anticipation for the matchup simmer a little longer. Because unless there is an influx of more talent coming later, the divas division will be even more dead than it is now after the best matchup they can offer has played out.
I think a Trish/Beth feud would be a great matchup to keep Beth focused prior to Kharma. This would definitely work for me, but only if Beth comes out on top. After this, a feud with Natalya, probably Tamina again, with a few models thrown in there for good measure, and then it's time for Kharma. Possibly in time for Summerslam.

It's not the same thing though, as Cody had plenty of potential contenders. Beth has already gone through most of the competition in her division; who else is she going to have a match with that we haven't seen already?
Neidhart would have been nice if they didn't turn her into a joke.

If I thought it would be more entertaining than Beth/Kharma, I'd say yes. It wouldn't be, so the answer is no.

So that leaves Tamina, Kelly, and Eve... those all sound like a yawnfests waiting to happen as we've seen them all face Beth and lose already.
Trish vs Beth at Mania sounds incredibly enticing given the alternative.

Well that IS the problem. Had they made Kharma come out the night after the rumble we'd be fine. At this moment, here is what I expect: Beth cuts one of those Aries, 'nobody can beat me, gonna be champ forever' promos on Raw, then Kharma comes out and interrupts her...
OR!...
Trish and Beth do lock up at the mania and Kharma comes out after that match when Beth wins. The more I say this in my head, the greater I'm warming to the idea. There's an obvious angle there, greatest womens champion coming back to topple the unbeatable womens champion just for her own sake to prove she can do it. She loses and Beth is mega-over like no woman has been for years. Then... Kharma comes out and takes up the gauntlet.
OK, I suppose I can accept Trish as it could really add to the whole scenario, but I still echo the Brain's sentiments. As long as she is going there to lose and lose alone. In fact, why do I care? It's not like there's any women really deserving of filling that spot APART from Kharma right now. I'm having a meltdown. Fucking ruining my own entire argument!

Kharma still needs to deal with The Bellas as far as I'm concerned. Then she's free to plough through Phoenix and go about her business.

Asolutely nothing, but I feel that her facing Beth so soon would ruin the suspence of actually waiting for it. If Kharma goes through Beth as her first competitor, her other feuds aren't going to be as spectacular. Imagine the transition of Kharma vs Beth to Kharma vs The Bellas... yeah.

Actually I feel that Layla could be a better foil to Kharma than Beth if used correctly. Kharma and Beth are both power wrestlers and usually match ups of those types tend to get boring quickly.
I honestly rather see Beth vs Trish. That will be a way better match. I don't know why everyone is so excited to see Kharma vs Beth. They are both powerhouses and they aren't going to match up well together. I honestly don't believe any diva on the roster or past diva including a Trish or Lita could beat Kharma. She honestly belongs with the men. She could beat up half of them lol
