WZCW's First Triple Crown Champion
After last week's elimination of The Internet Warrior and Chris Beckford, the competition is hotting up this week as Unscripted is around the corner and there's still four remaining people left that have their sights set on that #1 Contender's spot at All or Nothing. This week, we ask the WZCW Network to vote on the "bark" of the challengers, who has the words and presence in their promo work to keep their survival ongoing? Who's words sway you in the ways of keeping their title opportunities alive. Who will be the final three to go into Unscripted? Will you chose...

You decide!

The votes for this round must be based on their RPs in this thread. Any votes not based on the RPs for this week will be excluded from the overall vote.

I'm going to have to vote for Saboteur again.

His RP this round was stellar. It had it all: Creativity, humor, substance, he's the real deal. He has his own unique style and has really come into his own as of late and from what I saw from his latest RP, I feel like he poses a legitimate threat to Ty Burna (as he's already proven).

Saxton's RP was very creative, I enjoyed it as well, but it was very short. I couldn't vote for him. Gordito and Black Dragon also put in awesome RPs, which made it very hard to choose, but for the reasons I already listed, I had to go with Saboteur.

Four very interesting RP's. Saxtons was way to short but very creative. Sabetuers RP was funny but made it so long it was hard for me to keep in. I found myself going back over it a few times to make sure I didn't miss anything. Black Dragons was interesting but didn't pull me into it. Gorditos was good and I felt like he wants the world title. I want to vote for Gordito and Sabetuer but can only vote for one. I'm going to say Sabetuer.

I'm voting for Action Saxton for three reasons. The most important of which is that if I don't he will punch me in the throat. I like living so I do not want this to happen. The second is that submitting a photoshop RP like Doc did is such a brilliant idea that I've never seen used before so he gets uniqueness points for it. Finally it had a photo of a cute cat in it. Cats are awesome and therefore his RP was awesome. Combined with the first two points I had no choice.

I enjoyed Saboteur's the most, but he's not going to need my vote. Let's face the facts, people are going to vote for him this round much like they did last. It was indeed the best, but one I feel may well be overlooked is Mr. Saxton's. It was funny, original and while not great for this type of tournament, I feel he needs as much support as he can get. That's why I'm backing Saxton once more.

Choice was clear for me. Saxton's, while creative and whatnot, really didn't have much to it. Saboteur's dragged with the whole "explaining how to wrestle in a fourway" bit. Gordito's seemed to go on forever as well. Bottomline is Black Dragon is the best promo man left at this point. While it may be hard to compare him to more other RPers, the one thing that is clear is that he's pure quality.

Let's break it down:

Saxton: Interesting idea to use photoshop for an RP and although it is quite cute to see the cat on the picture, it really doesn't do much for a match with high stakes such as a number one contendership match. Not enough meat to explain stuff... hell, Saxton in Saboteur's RP had more relevant things to say about the match than this card.

Saboteur: Quite long of an RP with too many characters trying to get across a lot of jokes. Although it's not terribad as it's got some nice flow throughout the RP, I feel it's not worthy for the victory.

Dragon: His RP's have always entertained me and I find them interesting, like I'm sucked into a book... this week's chapter felt more like filler than actual storyline for some reason. It's good but still not anything flashy IMO.

Gordito: This RP had the perfect amount of backstory, character development and focus on the match. It was serious when it needed to be and it threw in some comedy where it broke up the seriousness.

Therefore... I am voting for Gordito for this week.

All 4 of these RP's were some of the best in the round out of anyone who RP'ed for these upcoming shows. There was just one particular RP that stood out to me, and it's a RP that I've never seen anything like before, and that was Action Saxton. Although it was short, it was probably one of the most creative RP's that I've ever read, and it stands out more than the others.

Vote Action Saxton.

They were all very good, but what stood out the most was Action Saxton's originality, and Saboteur's consistency. They stood out, and that's exactly what this is about, isn't it?

Overall though, Action's was a bit too short, and didn't really do much for the storyline. Saboteur's on the other hand, albeit long, was entertaining, while focusing on everything it needed to, and opened up a ton of options for RPs down the road.

For that...my vote goes to Saboteur.

As much as I love Saboteurs RP's and his clear grip he has over his gimmick. (Vote for Saboteur buttons? Awesome!) I think I am going to be voting for Black Dragon all the way to All or Nothing. His RP this week was simply amazing, he keeps such a simple RP design and manages to make it deep and always an amazing read. He manages to make the reader want to learn more about Dragon's past, and doing so without revealing to much of his past. Once again an amazing job and just to make it clear, my vote goes to Black Dragon.

I'm voting for that mo fo Action Saxton as I've already said:

I love this, I really do. The Myles/Bateman thing I was wondering myself and just did a lucky guess with Bateman, as Ty said last week on the discussion thread it goes to show they're interchangable and should not be the focus.

I liked the memo idea as well, the cute kitty made me think of Armbar who himself is a MMA fighter, it just shows how badass Saxton actually is. Then we get further onto content, good to see the superheroes get a bit of praise and the destroying fish adds to the background of you loving pussy/cats. I like that you also built up your long running storyline with RIcky Martin and Crashin, what ever will come next.

So he addressed the match, built on existing storylines and had some comedy thrown in for good measure. Add into that how different it was than normal and you tick all the "what makes a good RP" boxes.

Right, for me this is dead simple. It's between Gordito and Saboteur. But....

Gelgarin is a very good RPer but there are times where you can get away with not mentioning a match or an opponent. This wasn't one of them. I didn't think there was enough development in the character and didnt enjoy this one as much as I have others in the past. I'm not wholly convinced that the novel/diary approach works and the focus appears to be on other things. I remember a fuss about having "superhero" characters when he posted the app and I want to see how he can approach that because that makes the character different.

Doc.....I like Action Saxton, like Gelgarin, when he focusses, it is a great character to read about. When he is talking smack about guys on the roster, there's only a few who are as entertaining. But let me be clear, this wasn't an RP. It was practically a no show because there was very little substance behind it. I seriously read it, laughed and scrolled down the page to see what was coming. If he could have followed it up with a good Saxton RP, then we would be seeing a close three way I think. I'm disappointed because I dont think this was the time for it.

Gordito, I love as a character. Like the man behind him, he seems to be very chillaxed and it always comes across in his RPs. He manages to strike a very good balance between development and promo, which is something I love to see in RP's. I dont know if there are many who have found their RP niche style so quickly. This was a home run.

And then we come to Saboteur. Let me say that I dont think the RP that beat Ty was brilliant, it wasn't the best RP that he has written in his short time with us and that is saying something. I'm not convinced that the win is totally beneficial for the character because I reckon expectations have changed in the way he is written - not a dig, a big win like that is going to put some huge pressure on everyone involved. There seems to be more confidence and an ego about him whereas he had been this klutz with a massive comedic side and a split-personality that could switch so quickly, which made the character work so well IMO.

This RP went too long for me. The promo was great but the bit at the beginning seemed a little needless. It had more Saxton lines than Doc's "RP". Anyway, I have a big soft spot for Sab because of his All Star roots and I want to see more development for the character than just relying on that big win because I dont want to see the character be labelled as a one hit wonder who could never follow it up.

As we have to base it on this weeks RP, I have to give it to Gordito because I thought he managed to focus his writing tremendously.

The decision was between Gordito and Saboteur for me.

Gordito: I loved the beginning of your roleplay. I could feel your internal struggle through the text. I really like what you did with the parallel of "wandering through life," scenario.

Saboteur: This is an incredibly long roleplay, BUT you made it flow very well. It only came near to dragging whenever Garret began to go over strategy, but I felt like you saved it. I loved the content and the idea.

Valiant efforts by Black Dragon and Action Saxton, but Saboteur takes the cake for me.

Once again I will be voting for Gordito , his RP this week was fantastic, as was Saboteurs but I just am not a fan of such a long RP, and got bored midway through it. Black Dragon's RP didn't really impress me too much and he didn't really mention that match that well and then I enjoyed Saxton's RP, but for a competition like this one I don't think it deserves to advance.

Gordito should advance this week and ultimately win the tournament as he is constantly putting out incredible RPs.
