Totally Random Question for Keen Observers.

DON'T HINDER JINDER
Ok... I'm not sure wheere this fits in the forums...so in more than one Wrestlemania DVD, starting with at least WM18, there is a fan in attendance usually in the front row somewhere around the ring. This guy is a larger guy, he's bald, with glasses, and is always wearing a neon pink windbreaker. In WM18, he's towards the beginning of the Maven/Goldust match where Goldust throws Maven against the barricade (even more detailed, i think it's his 2nd offensive move) this guy can be seen. He is also in the front row of WM24 on the side that shows on TV... in the same pink windbreaker. Is this just a huge fan that's rich and can buy tickets wherever he wants or does he have some importance or relation to someone wrestling? Can anybody shed some light on this for me or even know what I'm talking about so I don't seem crazy? lol

If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, his name is "Vladimir the Superfan". He used to pop up all the time in various different events getting front row (or close to it) seats.

In a way, he was sort of the precursor to the two current "sign guy"s that we have right now, except Vladimir didn't carry signs to the events from what I can remember.

As far as if he paid the money for the tickets or just knew someone backstage that constantly kept giving him front row seats for free, I have absolutely no idea.

He's in a lot of the older PPV's like summerslam 94 etc.. they're was another guy who at Survivor Series 96 can be seen and Sid acknowledges him.. but the pink windbreaker guy is a regular.. funny enough he was on a raw not long ago.

Vladimir the Superfan.

Off the top of my head I don't remember which events I've seen him on, but it was mostly during the mid-90s. I don't specifically remember seeing him too much during the Attitude Era and I haven't been able to spot him lately. That role goes to Sign Guy #1 with the blue shirt and red hat & Sign Guy #2 with the orange shirt and green hat.

I'll have to ask my friend which events he remembers Vladimir making an appearance in.

Vladamir the Superfan wasn't who I was referring to but now that he was mentioned, I do remember seeing him as well. The Pink Windbreaker guy is who I was referring to and I haven't noticed him lately on Raw but I shall keep watching. Usually no matter who wins matches, as long as pink windbreaker guy is entertained, he stands up and golf claps with a giant smile on his face as the end of the matches.

He supposedly is a higher-up in the Make-a-Wish Foundation. He gets his choice tickets thru that. Almost every TV or PPV in OH, IN & MI he is front row dead center wearing that pink windbreaker. His wife always used to be with him, wearing a yellow/green one, but the last few times I've seen him on tv, she wanst there. He also goes backstage before the shows with a gimmick table up, trying to get the boys to donate time/money/gear to the foundation.

Chris Kaz is a play off of his real name.
He used to be a storyline owner of the IWA based out of Columbus, Ohio. (Not affiliated with Ian, Pondo, Victor Quionnes etc)
He is the storyline uncle of Midwest indy wrestler Carlton Kaz.
I used to work with him for the State of Ohio, but he also does a TON of charitable work for I believe the Make a Wish Foundation as well as the state's combined charitable campaigns.
I know I've seen him at past RoH Dayton shows. Never front row, normally in GA.
Helluva nice guy who loves the biz.... but a terrible terrible fashion sense.

Are we talking about the big guy who is in the front row for WM23 as well? Sat with a small woman wearing a yellow windbreaker? Because if so, then yes i've noticed him several times. Much like i noticed Vlad the Superfan.

Hell if you watch WM15 you should catch a glimpse of the Straw hat guy and his cigar smoking friend who were infamous for being in the same seats every night at the ECW arena back in the day.

Ok, so Pink Windbreaker Guy is in attendance at SS95 in Pittsburgh. I'm watching SS95 right now and there's pink windbreaker guy. front row, almost dead center on the side that shows on tv. I wish I had tickets like this guy. It'd be heaven.

I had always referred to the guy as 'Pink Shirt', for lack of a more creative name, as I had noticed him plenty of times in the audience, beginning several years ago. A couple years ago, I had floor seats at an Ohio event and actually approached him, to let him know how I've always noticed him on TV. I asked Pink Shirt how he always manages to get front row tickets, and he simply replied that he "knew somebody", but wouldn't say who or how. But jtb's post makes a lot of sense and I'm glad that we finally have the mystery cleared up.

This is the most random thread ever and i LOVE IT!!!

My friends and I are always talkin bout this type of thing! Pink Shirt is totally old school, i love him. Vladimir is the great 2, looks like he enjoys life that guy.

(Straw)Hat Guy from ECW is an icon and gives every1 shit. There's another dude that we call Mick Foley guy, he always wears black rounded glasses and has long hair with the beard. He was near the front row at Rumble 97.

Sign Guy (in the blue gas station shirt and red hat) is great 2. There's a great story in Batista's book about him if u've ever read it.
