Hey! Wrestling is just a reality drama with some action in between. If you like the promos they do between wrestling it means you like reality tv!

Lol, you are meant to watch the show because you hate them. Same with Total Divas and the Bellas. The reality shows meant for women is suppose to make you hate the characters and talk shit about them, and keep watching just to laugh at them.
Why would I want to support people I dislike?
It's how women's reality shows work, you are meant to hate the characters. Its why the bella twins are the center of total divas. Very few watch The Kardashians because they like them, they watch it because they hate them and want to laugh and mock them.
That probably gives a long explanation to why I won't watch Total Divas, either

It's oxymoronic to watch something you hate. As has been said before, you can dislike personalities without watching their shows and giving them ratings to keep making money with.

I hear Total Divas has already become a form of toture for TNA employees that demand to be paid on time. And for Knockouts that under perform.

& while I see what your trying to argue, I think if your going to compare wrestling to any kind of "drama" based show I think the closer comparission would be to a Soap Opera; Some people watch it more as fun entertainment & some people watch it religiously like it's real, it's meant to get you emotionall invested in the characters/story & it is episodic in the sense that people come back each & every week at the same exact time to find out the continuation from last weeks story.
Also I think a key word you used was "with some ACTION in between." As much as people complain because neither of the W's in WWE stands for wrestling anymore, they still use wrestling as their main vehicle to push their brand of entertainment. I'm sure most people who Tivo RAW skip a lot of the promos or "filler" & I'm sure a lot of fans (specifically kids) get interested in WWE in the first place because of the action & wrestling moves.
So to take away that action & a majority of the superstars who supply it & insert catty, scripted, BS from the most untalented people on the roster is hardly the same as watching any other wrestling or WWE program.
Wrestling is a hell of a lot more like a soap opera or a sitcom than fuckin' reality TV. I don't recall Steve Austin and The Rock talking nonsense about themselves to the cameraman for 20 minutes in my days.

Hey! there is sometimes action on reality tv shows, you know like slap fights or arguing. I am kinda trolling in a way lol, I rarely watch Kardashians because of what has been said above. I still find myself watching reality shows and other shows on E! when there isn't other things on.
A lot of guys don't like reality shows imo because guys aren't catty like girls are. A lot of girls and women get into reality shows because of the natural hate of other girls. Its fun to watch and hate on famous girls and mock them. Then there is always the girl that gets hurt and you feel sorry for them.
Reality shows are smart to play on natural emotions of most women. -shrug-
