TNA vs WWE confirmed

Let's get this out of the way right now.

HOW???

Well if you can't figure it out, TNA not getting enough viewers, thus resulting in not enough money, hence 'out of business'
A lot of TNA fans also watch WWE so unless TNA really step up their game, I can see the casual WWE/TNA viewers sticking to Raw on Monday nights.

You do realize that if TNA doesn't get good ratings on Monday, they could just move back to Thursdays and be doing the same exact business they currently are, right?

This isn't Russian Roulette or something.

Ding ding ding.

Of course every year is supposed to be TNA's last year, so I expect nothing but prophecies of doom from most people.

Fair point, but don't you think that if this fails, TNA wrestlers will see that TNA can't compete with WWE and there will be low-morale in the locker room. This could then cause people to leave and then they crash and burn.

If TNA's locker room could survive The Jarrett-Angle Love Triangle, they can make it through pretty much anything. No one is going to leave TNA if this fails.

AJ stayed through the angle where he locked himself in his bedroom because Kurt Angle and Christian were fighting with one another.

Trust me, this is nothing.

I just realized, January 4th is the RAW I'm going to be at. They better bring in The Rock now.

"According to F4WOnline.com, WWE is possibly going to counter TNA Wrestling's live show on Monday, January 4th against RAW. How you ask?

According to the website, WWE may schedule a three hour show of their own, so that both WWE's program and TNA's program will go completely head-to-head from 8-11PM ET."

Wow, if this is true this could be the biggest night in wrestling for a long while. Imagine if Hogan does actually have some 'big' surprises and The Rock guest hosts Raw, now that's orgasmic!

Why? What is wrong with you people? Even if you love WWE you should be rooting for TNA here. How could you possibly think that the WWE having a monopoly over wrestling is a good thing?

I'm pretty excited for the Monday Night Wars to come back. It may take time for TNA to place a dent in WWE's ratings but you gotta start somewhere. It sounds like TNA is going to change their product a bit and hopefully they are successful/smart in the way they go about doing this. It will take time but I'm sure many WWE fans will switch the channel during commercials or when there are uninteresting segments/matches on which can only benefit TNA. It may gain them more viewers especially when WWE is putting on bad segments.

Another positive is that this may push WWE to put on a better product. I've been wanting WWE to switch things up for the last five years. It may take time for this to happen but hopefully it will lead to WWE changing their product for the better. Competition is a great thing and look at the great tv we received back in the day when WWE was up against WCW on Mondays. It will be a long and hard road for TNA but hopefully they will be smart in how they approach this decision and I can only see it as a win for wrestling fans.

It's hard to believe that WWE doesn't acknowledge TNA when they decided last minute to make their January 4th Raw into a 3 hour show once they heard the news about TNA's show. I don't think TNA will have huge ratings, but you never know. Let's give it a chance. I'm pumped to actually have a Monday Night War for once instead of seeing nothing but Hornswoggle and DX on Monday nights.

TNA has been getting better and WWE has taken notice. That is why we have seen Raw been so much better then it has been in months. Except for this past Monday of course. It is only a one night deal, but if it gets decent ratings then we can maybe expect to see an actually weekly show.

I really don't see the problem. Wrestling was at its peak in the mid 90's with the Monday Night War. WWE needs this as much as TNA does. Wrestling needs interest again. Anyone that criticizes TNA for having veterans is a fool when DX and The Undertaker are the main focus on Raw and Smackdown. Every champion in TNA is a TNA original in their prime. Even "shareholders" have to agree this is good for the business. TNA I salute you.

Is this a one night thing or is Impact moving to Monday nights? Either way this has me all giggley inside.

This is going too be an awesome thing. Hopefully this gives WWE the kick it needs and TNA will become proper competition. Can't wait.

Isn't this the RAW that The Rock is rumored to be hosting?

If so, thanks for coming TNA. Although this should be good.
