TNA/UFC Meld in the Future

I'm not really bringing this up because I saw something or because there was a rumor.

But Spike's two big "sport" shows are TNA and UFC. Paul Heyman has been very close with Brock Lesnar since he joined UFC.

Could Dixie's surprise be some sort of crossover between the promotions? She said she pitched an idea to Spike and they loved it.

Could it be that maybe TNA and UFC will do some work together in the future?

Oh what, like Lockdown?

That's BS, who said the UFC talent would even need to get in the ring?

Only if they do a weekly "Shoot Challenge" with Brock Lesnar which ends in all TNA talent looking foolish.

No. It would fly out, and go to Alabama. Or Savannah, Georgia, and conveniently hit Rey Mysterio in the head, knocking him unconscious. :p

Yeah, Dana White would love to do something with TNA, a third rate promotion, especially where he loathes wrestling in the first place.

How do you people come up with this stuff?

Sounds like a Wrestlemania 2 type deal. Two close by locations each one holding one of the two. If not and octagon face to face with a ring. It be a bit of a clusterfuck, but as long as you keep each to their own sport it would draw money.

Oh, and don't even say something like "Spike will force them to do it"... because that would never happen. The UFC is far more valuable to Spike TV than TNA.

From the same dumbass who says the TNA roster has low morale, but are willing to sign multi-year deals. (Dave Meltzer)

Who would draw the money? TNA or UFC? Yeah UFC dont need TNA to draw any extra ratings or cash.

You know, most people don't like their job or working, but they'll stay where they are for money and a position, especially in this economy.

Also, this was the brainchild of the guy who created this thread and not even a rumor, let alone something reported by Meltzer.

If anything, UFC would lose ratings, because the fans who watch it for the fights and not wrestling would be dissapointed and prob not watch anymore.
