shark Boy is a jobber so he isn't important and the WWE has way worst gimmick's like Jillian Hall and her old mole, Simon Dean's fitness gimmick, Booker T's "King" gimmick, Vito's cross-dresser gimmick, Matt Stirker's teacher gimmick, Umaga's bootleg Samoa Joe gimmick, Kevin Thorn's vampire gimmick etc. wrestling is about putting great matches like what TNA does and not about dialog and besides TNA is starting to have more dialong. And Sting and Jeff Jarrets fued is almost over

Jeff Jarrett beating Sting. Damn, I'm starting to agree that TNA sucks. For kissing Triple J's ass so much. A large amount of his heel heat has nothing to do with promos or ring work. People boo because they are tired of seeing him constantly on top. Period. I heard after the match, that the crowd gave off no heat, almost dead, walking out of the arena.

I know this comment's a few days late, but that match ending was complete bullshit. Sting should have walked away with the title and maybe then eventually put over Samoa Joe. Anyone but Jarrett already. Jarrett needs to be dropped, NOW.

That's the point of Shark Boy's gimmick. It's a throwback gimmick. You're supposed to laugh at it. Kevin Thorn is decent in the ring, but isn't good enough to denote getting to job over Al Snow. His gimmick is just as one-dimensional as Shark Boy. The only difference is that Shark Boy's gimmick is somewhat original. Kevin Thorn needs to realize that Gangrel called from the year 1999 and wants his gimmick back.

I still to this day dont know why Kevin Thorn was dropped from the Mordacai gimmick now that was fucking cool, I could only imagine the light vs dark fued that he coulda had with the undertaker, But personally i like the Vampire Gimmick he looks sick and Ariel is hot lol and his finisher even thou a razors edge looks cool as,

Back to tna i agree with the poster above you need someone to hate and not just hate, Passionatly HATE and jeff jarrett is that, and good at it. And true he is in the twilight of his Career, I think the mantle should be passed on to christian cage i KNOW he can make the fans hate him

Understandable. Each to his own. I've been hunting down ROH DVD's like mad and have about six of them. You're right, Jarrett is still a pretty solid wrestler, but I also think he doesn't try half as much as he did during his late 90's stint with WCW. He knows he's in a safe position in the company and doesn't try to do anything close to what his old performances were like. As much of a Sting fan as I am, I honestly think Sting hasn't been half what he was since his big hiatus in '96. I realized this when I watched his Starrcade '88 tag match w/Dusty Rhodes when they took on The Road Warriors (he was high-flying and amazing in those days). Sting is another one who plays it safe in the ring and doesn't try to innovate anymore. It's like Shawn Michaels...I can pick out what moves they're going to do in sequence in almost every match. It really sucks when a guy gets too over and doesn't have to try to please the audience, because they'll root for him (or boo) anyway.

Good points. Most main event wrestlers only do their best work for a certain amount of years before settling down a bit. Can't really say as I'd blame them , with the schedule, lifestyle and everything else, though. I do wanna say that even though Sting is no longer in his prime either, though, he would be a much greater draw as a face champ than Jarrett as a heel champ. He really should have won that match.

The X divison is nothing but spot monkeys, it can be entertaining, but the spots they do are just too much. The business revolves around this title, it should be revolbing around the Heavyweight title.. get it right TNA!

I do not believe in any way that TNA is better than the WWE in wrestling. Does TNA have technical masterminds like Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle? NO! Do they have people like HBK, HHH, Flair, Stone Cold, The Rock, The Undertaker? Dont think so... these people were some of the greatest! Who does TNA have... former WWE superstar Jeff Jarrett.. great.

Also, the storylines on TNA are pure garbage. They need to do something about that... get some creativity or something.. But the storylines need alot of work.

The only thing TNA beats WWE in is the Tag team division. Because literally WWE has like 4 teams: London/Kendrick, Teachers Pets, Spirit Squad, and Highlanders. I'll give credit to TNA for keeping a good, strong tag division alive.

Overall, WWE is definately the bette product. They have the wrestling, the storylines, and overall more entertaining federation.

Nothing but spot monkeys who can keep crowds entertained throughout an entire show (even the three hour PPVs). This is the kind of lame defense WWE marks like to use when they justify liking boring crap in a ring. Not saying I don't like SOME of what goes on in WWE, but it's pathetic that for ninety minutes of airtime, you can only find thirty minutes of it to be quality wrestling. The rest of it is filler tripe that doesn't belong on cable access. Even on Mondays, no less. Why do you think the World Title Matches are the main event at PPVs? Because they're second string to the other belts? At least TNA doesn't have to pipe in crowd chants on their tapings.

Yeah, they have Benoit and Angle. Who've been misused for the last two years. HBK is only as good as Angle makes him. Triple H buried the main event at Wrestlemania 21 (funny that they couldn't pipe in crowd noise during that one) and he porks the bosses daughter. Flair should've retired in the mid-nineties. Stone Cold isn't even wrestling and is DONE. The Rock got smart and jumped ship before it began sinking. And the Undertaker? He's about as phenomenal in the ring as Billy Ray Cyrus is on the microphone. Jarrett may be old and overused, but at least he regularly scoops heat and can still move around the ring and sell.

Spirit Squad Hooray! I have an idea for WWE's next storyline. How about we re-release a tamed version of a gimmick from 1997 and have them dump poop on Vince McMahon. Pure genius. Oh, while we're at it, we can have Triple H make little allusions as to the fact he humps Stephanie McMahon...further asserting that the best way to get and keep yourself on the top is to sleep your way there. WWE stopped innovating toward the hind end of the Clinton administration. They had a three year window with no competition on American TV and they pissed it down the drain. Leave it them to blow the biggest crossover event in wrestling history and limp on from there.
