Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Her name is Sweet Saraya, and she's worked a few matches with Cheerleader Melissa (Alissa Flash) in SHIMMER. She's also 38, has had her elbow practically rebuilt, and a bum knee.

I'm unsure how to take this. I'm thinking she won't get a push, but she'll obviously get TV time, and most likely a few matches with Alissa, since they've worked together in the past.

What do you think?

Ehh…I’m unsure too. If she’s had many injuries in the past and is a little bit older then this might not be such a good idea. However, if she’s not injury prone and is a good worker then it’s a good addition to the roster.

I’m not familiar with her but I’ll certainly be looking forward to her debut. TNA has done a pretty good job in choosing which knockouts to hire, with a few exceptions, so I hope she is as good as some of the other knockouts or better.

I'll shorten your post to this: Anything is better than Lacey.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I agree though. SHIMMER is a pretty good company, so I'm assuming she has some legit wrestling skills, and having worked with Melissa, she should fit right in to the division. I just don't see the longevity she can have, and what she can add. She'll be another "midcard" KO, and after a few months, will probably be gone.

Let's hope she doesn't go the way of Mickie Knuckles.

Well I can't give a good opinion on her because I have not see the women wrestle or heard heard on the mic. But from reports I read she is decent in the ring. But they should of signed Jetta she is a great British women wrestlers and could be a good asset to the company. But that's for another thread.

I don't know what they will do with her maybe be a valet for British Invasion for a while or maybe Desmond Wolfe manager even though he doesn't need one.

I agree 100%. I’m still disappointed in them because they haven’t fired her,

I’ve heard many good things about SHIMMER so that’s the biggest reason why I’m looking forward to her debut. I know about some of the women in SHIMMER so I hope she’s something like them when it comes to her wrestling ability. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see and then fully judge how good or how bad of a signing this was.

That’s probably going to be the case. Like I said, I don’t know if she’s injury prone, but by what you said in your post, she sounds like someone they can’t rely too much on. Hopefully, she’ll be good and she can have some good feuds with the likes of Flash, Kong, Tara, Daffney, e.t.c.

Let's hope she doesn't go the way of Mickie Knuckles.

What happened to her was horrible. That’s a major reason why TNA shouldn’t allow their talent to do too many indy shows.

Anyone is better than Lacey. At least Mickie Moose Knuckles had a personality. I haven't heard much about this new Knockout besides she is from Britain. She would probably fit in well with The British Invasion since they are the tag team champs. She could be the new Knockouts champ.

I'd agree that she fits in with the World Elite, but do they really need another Brit? Can't they try to be international, instead of Some Brits and an Arab guy? If they disband, and the British Invasion are still getting pushed, then maybe she fits in as a valet/secret weapon. They did OK with Rob Terry in that role, and she actually has some wrestling ability.

I don't want to see her as the next KO Champ. Excluding that segment last week, ODB has proven herself worthy of the belt, and there's a number of KOs already waiting in the wings. I don't see the point in bringing in a new female to compete for the strap.

Have you heard anything about her since the incident? All wikipedia says is that she was out for a month but really doesn't go into any detail whatsoever about her recovery. I saw what happened to her on Youtube a while back, just brutal.

A 38 year old veteran being employed to work in TNA's Women's Division? That seems to be a bit of a shock to me considering that they already have women like Kong, Hamada and Tara fitting those roles both on and off screen perfectly. But, I guess she could be a good addition to the roster. I have not been able to check out her abilities in the ring, what she is best working as and how her injuries/age affects her... but it would be nice to finally see a female wrestler of an older age being featured on regular mainstream programming in a ring not named Mae Young.

It would be interesting to see how she goes. It might be a good addition to make her work against Alissa first and build her up with a win or two, then go into programs with girls like Christy Hemme and Lacey von Erich to get their wrestling up to scratch with the rest of the KO's. Not so much Hemme who has really come into her own, more Lacey (who is not a wrestler, but a personality).

I have nothing but good expectations for this signing. Like someone said, TNA makes a good choice of picking KOs to add to their roster.

No, that is part of the perks for getting to work in TNA. You can work a limited schedule and still work the indies. If TNA took that away, lots of their talent wouldn't be happy about that.

I can't really judge her. I have yet to see her, hear her, or watch if she's got skill to compete with the big girls. If she has wrestled with Flash before, they can maybe begin a tag team, and win the belts. I am getting really sick of the same teams round here. Sarita and taylor need to just lose the title already. I want something fresh, new and inspiring

I'm not sure who she is, but regardless, anything is better than watching this pathetic inception of the Beautiful People parade around in a TNA wrestling ring as testaments to the total opposite. They belong in the WWE with the rest of the "Divas", IMO.

The Knockouts division has lost a tremendous amount of steam, and I'm not sure exactly why, but I'd certainly credit the loss of Love as a major blow.

While Tara helps, having her feud with Kong separates them too much, which doesn't allow for Hamada or Flash to grow much except off one another. Whoever this Sweet Saraya is, I just hope she can come in and actually help elevate the division again, because it needs all the help it can get it's hands on right now.

Fuck you Wrestling Observer.

Apparently she hasn't signed a deal, so I'm closing this thread.
