TNA Rankings System

This may have been discussed a while back, but after watching this past weeks episode this morning, I wondered what happened to them.

Seems like TNA changes storylines every week, rather than letting one play out.

Thought they may have been onto something with the rankings thing, but...

At least it was different.

I liked the idea of the ranking system. It brought realism to wrestling. Also, it makes non-title matches important and gives guys who are not feuding over a belt, some meaningful reason to fight.

Sadly, it was just a gimmick for Kurt Angle to get into the main event scene for BFG...and didn't matter for anybody else?
