TNA Operating "In The Black"

Regarding TNA's financial status, it's said that they are "in the black", which means they have a positive net income, and are in no danger of shutting down. At the same time, there are concern about financial issues in the company.

The new TNA event sponsorship deal with Direct Auto Insurance is worth millions and obviously has helped the company a great deal.

So since dirt sheet reports are often taken as gospel around here despite this company not being a publicly traded one (meaning no one who doesn't work directly for them has access to their financials), can we finally stop the nonsense about how TNA is going to be sold, cave in, collapse or <insert negative adjective here>?

Cool.

Um...what exactly is this report based on? Does it mention at all where they're getting this info from?

Whoever suggested they were going to go bankrupt and go out of business? The fact that they are operating in the black is hardly a newsflash. Being in the black simply means they are not in the red, which is obviously a good thing, but doesn't necessarily mean they are making much money, and certainly not enough to compete with WWE. Let's see them bring in Goldberg, and a few other questionable moves like this, and see how long they can avoid the red ink.

Doesn't Panda Energy not invest into TNA? Even if they had a deficit, they'd just get a quick cash injection.

But sadly, instead of "being in the black" in reference to their financial status, they need to "see the light" in reference to their product.
