TNA LOCKDOWN

Getting Noticed By Management
Not sure if I should put this here yet seeing as lockdown is in april and against all odds is coming up. Anyway, lockdown v.i.p packages go on sale tomorrow and I'm thinking about picking one maybe two up. They'll be giving the best of mick foley dvd away, surely foley vs sting will be in there...hopefully foley vs flair as i enjoyed it. anyways, let me not get sidetracked her...lockdown of coarse is a caged ppv. Has had pretty good matches these last few years. matches that stick out to me of recent memory ar kurt vs anderson, aj vs rvd, uhhh...I forget who was in the match but I know the band was...think this was an impact. oh and how can I forget that triple threat Xcape with brian kendrick, homicide, and kaz. One match though I really wish they'd bring back is....Queen of the cage. Not so sure this'd be the same without kong but hell I'd think it'd still be fun to watch. There's always that team vs team match...of course now it seems like it'd be immortal vs fortune which I'm ok with. Do you see lockdown being an intriguing ppv this year or is it being a "eh...i'll just read the results" type of ppv?

I absolutely seeing it being a intriguing PPV. It was, in my opinion, their best PPV last year. Lockdown always seems to be a good ppv.

I see this year being really good too, and in I think their biggest arena to date. They are going to make the road to Lockdown extra special this year from what I've heard, which should make for an great ppv. If I had the opportunity to go, I totally would.

This is one of the PPV's where I really miss the six sided ring. Now don't get me wrong, the TNA four side cage kicks the ass of the Entertainers because it looks like it'd really mess you up whereas the WWe version gives when the wrestlers connect with it (the Elimination Chamber still rocks out the most though). Given that the Chamber is attributed to Bischoff tweaking the War Games cage does anybody think we might see something new this year?

But I'm moving at a tangent here. Lockdown has a great lineage (Abyss vs AJ, Joe and Kurt's MMA themed classic, Elix Skipper walking the top before performing the Frankensteiner) but the only major stand out last year was the Kurt vs Anderson war and the 'main' event EV2.0/ Fourtune match REALLY disappointed given the talent involved/ misused (delete as appropriate). With the roster they have, Lockdown could really be the best PPV of the year and given the buzz around a possible Sting vs Undertaker WM, I don't say that lightly. If creative book it simple and utilise the best men for the job and then let the guys do what they do best (ala the original One Night Stand), this WILL rock!
