TNA Going After reDRagon Again for 1/5 POP Debut

According to various reports, all citing The Wrestling Observer/Meltzer as the original source, TNA are once again negotiating with reDRagon (both Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish).

"Fish & O'Reilly are back talking to TNA after an impasse," Meltzer wrote. "Because it would be tampering until 1/1, the idea of WWE or TNA contacting them wouldn't be legal. But if you said there had been no contact between those groups and Fish & O'Reilly, it would be inaccurate when it comes to both groups."

We read months ago that Davey Richards, who the group's name honors, and who is a close friend to both, had originally reached out to both about the idea of coming to TNA, but that talks reached an "impasse" resulting in reDRagon remaining with ROH. Apparently he's again being used as an intermediary here again, which bodes well for TNA's chances if WWE are at the negotiating table too.

We're also months past it, but Bob Ryder did passive-aggressively post back in July, declaring "maybe we [TNA] should get aggressive and go after their [ROH] unsigned talent?"

Better late than never? If you ask me, reDRagon would be a massive get for TNA, who desperately need to add talent to their roster. Not to mention it'll get fans salivating out of the gate for the eventual Wolves/reDRagon feud.

If by some stroke of luck they are signed, that would be a massive boost to their roster. As a team, as X Division guys and even as main event talent. Both men, especially Kyle have a very unique style that does the MMA blend in a very seamless manner. It does not look like the cliche "kick a lot" kind of stuff you see from Richard, Edwards and others and it's not the "submission specialist" deal where they really just have one finisher and other holds they use as transitions. These two really do a great job of making their work in the ring look like it's legitimately spontaneous and that's without mentioning their great ring work.

Would be a tremendous signing on top of the signings of Mike Bennet, Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett who are all great talents and set to have a big year.

These are the signings TNA needs to be making, they've plenty of veterans, it's time to start building new characters, I hope the booking team have plans and ideas to put the new talents over.

TNA has to try harder! Bring in GOLDBERG since TNA contacted him first since Bram is his adversary in Checkpoint! Get Cool Carlito Colon while you are it and sign Rey Mysterio Jr and not only focus on ROH only but Lucha Underground as well and take the talents!

As much as i can recall, there were reports of WWE trying to hire reDragon and i was very happy about it.... Even if they are coming to TNA, its a good news for TNA and us! Tag Division is gonna get good depth with reDragon and Wolves out there! I am quite happy that TNA is aggressive on hiring new talents and thats what they should do too.... TNA needs to make stars like EC3 & Drew Galloway and not rely on part-timers & veterans much! Bennett and reDragon can be a huge Miracle for TNA!

As much as I love everything the Wolves did during their run with TNA, one wonders if there's anything left for them to do except split up? Both Davey and Eddie are great faces, so I wouldn't expect a barber shop window just yet.

ReDRagon would be the perfect injection of new blood. Then there's always the Hardys to feud with. Guys not doing too much can always get thrown together too, but an established team is better.

Get Red Dragon and sign Matt Taven in March. You know after that Adam Cole wouldn't be far behind. Bring the MCMG back also. ROH has hinted at their reuniting, but the MCMG are a TNA thing! Things are definitely looking up. It's a very exciting time to be a TNA fan.
