TNA and ROH

gamehead

Championship Contender
Since the two have wrestlers like in both promotions Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Samoa Joe , Alex Shelley, Roderick Strong, A.J. Styles and simlarities and differences they should cross-promote. ROH should invade and TNA Impact! epoisode and start a war. TNA has nothing to lose and this might help ROH.

What do you think?

Invasion angles are neat if they are done right. I dont know much about ROH but i have been learning slowly the past few days. Seems interesting but i need to start seeing full matches.

I caught the Jim Cornette shoot on CZW type promotions.... it was well done.

I have yet to see some mind blowing matches which is what i am looking for.

If you find them, tell me pleasewhere you found it! I heard they were exellent!

Well overall i would first search youtube under "roh".
Secondly always remember torrents are your friends.

With a little time you might have some luck. I would be searching today but my time is a bit crunched this weekend. I'll see what i come up with

TNA has lots to loose in my opionion. Once TNA gets to 2.0 on ratings then it might be OK to have some sort of invasion, NOT TO MENTION TNA needs a 2 hour show to support that, but honestly iit will be a hell of alot better the WWF/ECW

Um ROH is not you normal Fed, they really dont play stoylines shenshi(low-ki) is one of teh top guys in ROH

Ring of Honor showcases technical matches with smaller but very skilled performers. The promotional style has some influence from that of the Japanese UWF, but not the wrestling style, as not every ROH wrestler uses shoot style.

So it would not work well with an INVASION angle

Now it would be very nice to see but i see TNA becoming more ROH-like for one reason
the establishment of Jim Cornette as ROH Commissioner
Now this guy love ROH and now is in a very good seat within TNA

Low Ki is no longer one of the top ROH guys, because he doesn't even wrestle for them anymore. If the invasion angle placed any current/former ROH guys on the ROH side, then TNA wouldn't really have much to work with for their side of things. AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Jay Lethal, Matt Sydal, Sonjay Dutt, Homicide, etc.

What does TNA have? Petey Williams? Petey Williams sucks.

NOTE: This isn't me bashing on TNA, as I like these guys all being used in the X Division and all, just making mention that most of them found their way to ROH in the past, and some still do.

Problem if they do that is, ultimately one promotion is going to have to "loose" the battle, and this will make one promotion look a lot weaker than the other.

Plus they have the CZW-ROH angle going on at the moment lol.

I agree. Invasion?? 90% of the X-Division are guys who came to TNA from ROH. Their strength is their in ring action. NOT STORY LINES! Thats the problem with WWE. They focus on the stuff out of the ring instead of focusing on making their in ring matches better. Thats why TNA and ROH matches are much better.

Considering that ROH isn't going for national exposure and is simply trying to gain a reputation as the federation to go to in order to see actual professional wrestling and is trying to gain the respect of the non-casual wrestling fan. I think its safe to say it won't happen.

Although ROH has Christian Cage lined up to face Christopher Daniels one on one in an ROH ring and TNA champions that work ROH usually bring their belts with them. I think it would be cool for TNA to atleast recognize ROH champions even though none of ROH's current champions are a major part of TNA right now (Bryan Danielson, Nigel McGuinness, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong)

Great Idea! I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-way Ultimate-X match involving Styles, Daniels, Danielson and Aries.

Petey Williams does not suck But his character does but hey that guy is one hell of wrestler and even make others look better in the ring

You're right. Petey Williams is someone TNA needs to put back in the mix a little more.

Name a finisher anywhere in wrestling that is more brutal than the Canadian Destroyer.

ok i take that?

Not sure of its name buts nasty

its done by a guy by the name of super dragon

rorture rack into a running piledriver,HOLY SHIT you do not kick out of that

Torture rack into a running piledriver? Damn, that does sound bad. Where can I see this Super Dragon?

Psycho Dragon calls it the Psycho Driver, and he has three variations of it. The usual torture rack to piledriver, the cutthroat variation where he has one of your arms wrapped around your neck, and the third is a pumphandle into a piledriver. All are quite nasty.

Psycho Dragon has also made other moves popular, such as the curb stomp, which I'm sure you've seen Simon Dean/Nova do on occasion to jobbers on velocity.

well then he must of pulled out the running version for one night only cause HOLY SHIT!
Ducks a Short-arm clothesline
quick go behind
lifts (forgot the guys name) into a spinning tortue rack holds him for about 10 seconds
runs from the far corner to the middle of the ring and hits the PHSYCO DRIVER
ONE>>>>TWO>>>>>THREE!!!!!!!!!!!

and you winner by pinfall SUPER DRAGON

ROH isn't on television unless you're in Canada or the U.K.

The only way you can really watch ROH if not live is through purchasing DVDs through their website or finding matches online.

But its still worth seeking out, as ROH is the best wrestling promotion going today.

Id personally like to see TNA and ROH promote a couple shows together sometime down the road. Kind of like a Super Card, TNA vs ROH. If no reason else because I like both promotions and to get more ROH fans interested in TNA and vice versa. Book it fairly even and there is no real loss for either promotion.

I don't know about an invasion angle as it really doesn't benefit the loser, and I don't know why ROH would wan't to do that.
