This sums up my thoughts on TNA.

They're storylines actually have something to them and leave you wanting to see what happens next week. WWE's are just the same old shit with the same old guys. That's all the needs to be said really.

To steal a phrase from FTS who stole it from me in the LD who stole it from someone else:

If I want drama, I'll watch a drama. I want wrestling on a wrestling show.

Wrestling shows are a drama, you build storylines to sell the PPV's. Want wrestling, just watch the PPV's. But have fun, it's boring as shit without knowing the backstory behind the matches.

13 days before Genesis, three of the same matches were done. How is it building to the PPV when it's the same thin?

That thread is a bit ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as the audience being cast members thread but right up there. Oh well.

Is this directed at TNA? The last time I checked, RAW's matches were like 3 minutes a piece. Monday nights are honestly the last place I'd ever look for good wrestling. TNA's writing may be sub-par, but I think it's undeniable that they're heads and shoulders above WWE when it comes to what happens in the ring when the bell's been struck.

I can't really debate there. First time I've watched since Jan 4th because my new job hours suck, so you'd have to tell me the matches and outcomes and I'll tell you if they made any sense or not.

BTW, why in the bluest of blue fucks is the Pope losing to scrub asses like Orlando Jordan? That dude is over as fuck, give him the midcard title (TNA has one right? If not, fix it Hogan) and push his ass.

AJ pinned Angle clean. They did it again at Genesis.
Pope pinned Wolfe clean. They did it again at Genesis.
ODB beat Tara. I can accept this.

Eric Young, the guy that got pinned int he Nasty match, is the midcard champion.

Jordan won by exploiting an injury. It made sense in context.

No, it really doesn't. The right context would be the bigger star winning or anything other than a new guy beating a guy that's one of your most over guys.

MOTY. Leave them wanting to see more.

Did it even the score? If not, I don't really see the point.

Women's wrestling, I don't care.

rofl, wow.

He may have gotten the win in order to lay the foundations for a future fued. They seem to teasing something between the two anyway.

But why should I pay to see a match I already saw where the champion defended his title? Also, why should Angle get another title shot?

Which is what they did with Wolfe I thought. That's the problem that sums up most of TNA's problem I think: there are too many people on the roster and too much is going on.

I think Dexter said it best on the bottom of that page. I'll adjust it because of the time, but it's been a little over an hour since the show ended, and there are 5 or 6 pages of posts in that thread. It's doing its job

Oh it's definitely exciting. However, the key is next week's ratings. It's one thing to get people to watch. it's another to get them to watch again.

True, though I thought this weeks show was an improvement from two weeks ago. From the standpoint of a casual fan, TNA does seem to be making an effort to at least drive fueds and establish some new heels and faces.
