Yes they would. Either the competitors would be fighting each other every week (wow, compelling) or they would be having a feud whilst one of them was repeatedly engaging in meaningless and predictable title defenses.
And it would give the belt no more meaning. If anything it would make it even more irreverent than its current state. Either TNA goes with protracted title reigns, in which case we get forced to watch a very similar Samoa Joe match sixteen weeks in a row until we're all bored to death with it, or they hot potato the belt until we stop giving a shit who holds it.
How about instead of having the same match that nobody cares about on television every single week we instead pluck two guys at a time from the "stacked midcard" and book them into a feud with promos and angles culminating with a match at the PPV? You know, something non-stupid.

i'll tell you why i made it like this.. basically i went by whats was most requested all over the IWC and i put together this chart based on that... The most request was more knockouts and more x division throughout the iwc. I Didn't want to put this in the OP as i wanted to see what the responses were before reviling how i came up with this chart.
This is just all fun and games and should be taken with a grain of salt and wasn't meant be a troll tactic. This is meant to give everyone a visual idea of what the IWC wants from TNA and the most requested was what you see in the chart. Do believe me, that's fine you can go to every "whats wrong with tna" post on many dirt sheet forums. For the last year it's been

The knockout division is/was awesome as it was once the biggest rating gainer in TNA. Even in the current state of the knockout division it's still better then the Diva Division.

If the threadstarter was so off base, explain the Knockouts being the biggest draw on Impact back in the day? They were outdrawing the guys week in and week out. They were even considering a separate show. Once again, TNA failed to run with a good thing.
Back in the day, the WWE's Divas division drew some ratings, too. So let's make them the main event. You know, since they were a draw ONCE.
