So in recent boxing news, the fight the world has been waiting for could very well be on the way. Yep, that fight. Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao vs Floyd "Money" Mayweather. It has been reported from various sources that negotiations for the fight may start as soon as tomorrow. Apparently Manny Pacquiao may be willing to undergo the Olympic style drug testing being demanded by Floyd Mayweather and his camp. Keep in mind this style of testing is not required by any sanctioning body or boxing organization, this is a stipulation Mayweather has thrown in the ring, no pun intended.
If or when this deal gets finalized, this will easily be one of the biggest fights ever made. Both fighters previously agreed to a 50-50 split of the purse but now that Mayweather beat Mosley and got a lot of buys from it (est. 1.2 mill approx.) opposed to Pacquiao drawing approx. 770,000 buys on his own against a relatively unknown fighter. Money isn't as much the issue, the money will be there and both will make a fortune, it's the testing. If they can agree somewhere on the terms this will be a fight that promises to deliver more than fireworks from the two fighters. This isn't just business this is also personal considering the accusations from the Mayweather camp.
