This is Part 6 and the final segment of the ethnic and global wrestling HOF. The American HOF. The fallowing is my favorite personal list, so please feel free to add to it, but it must have individuals or groups that contribute at least 10 years to the industry.
1. The McMahon Family - Career 1915-Present, CWC,NWA,AWA,& WWE, there has been a McMahon involve in wrestling 96 years no other individual or family can boast about being in the business that long.
2. Lou Thesz - Career 1932-1990, NWA,AWA,JWA,AJPW,WWA,UWA,& Stampeded, 16 single titles & 2 tag titles, started his career at the age of 16, he has the record for the longest title reign 10yrs ( 3,749 days).
3. Hulk Hogan - Career 1977-Present, NJPW,WWF,WCW,AWA,NWA, & TNA, 15 single titles & 1 tag title, 3 wrestler of the year, 4 match of the year, ranked 1 in the world twice.
4. Ric Flair - Career 1972-Present, AJPW,AWA,NWA,WCW,WWE,WWC,ROH,& TNA, 35 single titles & 9 tag titles, 6 match of the year, 6 wrestler of the year, he has used 20 signature & finisher moves in his career.
5. HBK - Career 1984-2010, AWA,NWA,FMW,WWC,WCCW & WWE, 7 single titles & 13 tag titles, 10 match of the year, 11 Slammy Awards.
6. Buddy Rogers - Career 1939-1978, AWA,NWA & WWF, 14 single titles & 8 tag titles, he was the first WWWF Champion in history.
7. The Funk's ( Dory SR & JR & Terry )- Career 1949-Present, a Funk has wrestle in every wrestling promotion world wide since 1949, their combine stats are 70 single titles & 39 tag titles.
8. George Wagner - Career 1932-1962, AWA & NWA, 3 single titles, he was the first flamboyant wrestler ever, he was one of the few American wrestlers to defeat Lou Thesz in his prime.
9. Verne Gagne - Career 1949-1981, NWA & AWA, 22 single titles, 10 tag titles, great wrestler and Promoter and inducted into 4 different HOF's.
10. Ricky Steamboat - Career 1976-semi-retire, AWA,NWA,NJPW,TNA,WWC,WCCW,WCW,UWF,WWF,AJPW, & ROH, 14 single titles & 12 tag titles, one of the best high flyers in the history of wrestling.
