The Wrestlemania Twist

Hmmm, make it look like a shoot. Make it look like Brock went into business for himself. He ends the streak. Wrestlemania 31 is Brock/Taker 2 with enormous hype. Just an idea. I'm sure it's bad because it's 2am.

Maybe a big return during the battle royal?

Everything still looks WAY too predictable for this WM. The Big Show winning the Andre battle royal, Shield going over Kane and the Outlaw seems natural especially considering how over they are as faces, Daniel Bryan on his way to the WWE world title, Cena over Bray should be a no brainer but something feels odd to me. Bray could go over but the shock factor is gone. Can the WWE really afford to send Bryan home without the WWE WHC? I don't think so. It all seems cut and it's not making sense. So I've been thinking what would be the most shocking moment of them all? What would stir the pot more than anything maybe in WWE history. The only thing I can think of is the Streak.

what I'm thinking is something like Brock "breaking Takers arm" early in the match. Beating the living shit out of him for a long time with taker unable to defend himself. Taker makes a huge comeback. Big boot, one handed chokeslam, take Heyman out, One armed tombstone, everyone KNOWS it's over and Brock kicks out, Taker tries Hell's gate can't hold onto it because he has a broken arm and all, Brock lifts him into an F-5, and everyone expects the kickout that never comes.

Big Show may or may not win. Who gives a shit though ultimately? It's a battle royal. It's a fun match to get everyone in.

Daniel Bryan winning is predictable but that's not a bad thing. Sometimes, the crowd wants something so bad and that's what needs to happen. Plus it's not obvious how Bryan will get into the title match. Double pin? Gets screwed and it's reversed? Straight win?

Shield/Authority isn't clear cut either. I can see a turn in that match.

I don't think it's at all obvious Cena will win.

I like your idea to an extent. Just don't know how I feel about Taker losing to Brock. Think it should be a guy who could actually use it.

Yeah, I know it just seems clear to me. It just feels like this show is being set up to look like it's easy to explain.

No it's not bad I think that WM ME should be predictable in a way. Everyone wants to see that one thing happen and imo it should.

I can't see it with how over they are now. I can admit that I might be wrong here, but I'm expecting the shield to be around for a bit. Plus this win would make all three members two and zero at WM. Which I think might be building for a triple threat between the three at next years mania.

I don't think it's at all obvious Cena will win.
Again early on I said Bray would win but the more I've thought about it there's only one way Bray can win this and that's if Cena is challenging the streak next year to get back his "legacy" which don't get me wrong, it would be a perfect angle but I don't think the WWE's long term booking is that good. Cena's great and could pull it off but would they pull the trigger?

I know how you feel but I said it's a gut feeling, but if Brock destroys Taker next week I'll completely change my mind. It just feels too perfect atm. I said it feels like they are making it impossible for Brock to win, he's hardly looked like a threat. And that's the only chance I'd give him is pure shock factor. I don't like Brock ending it myself, I want Cena to have it, but I don't know.

This WM XXX card could have been so much better. Right now it seems like a huge disappointment

The Shield vs. Kane and NAO is such a waste of the momentum that the Shield has going. Each week they seem to be getting better, especially Seth Rollins. I'm not saying breaking up the Shield would have been the right thing to do, but a Rollins vs. Reigns vs. Ambrose match would have had a lot more hype/attention. Alternatively, they could have went with a Reigns/Rollins vs. Wyatt family tag match, and had Ambrose defend the US title (does it even still exist???) -

Taker vs. Lesnar has been booked terribly thus far. It makes little sense why Taker keeps getting the best of Brock. I had high hopes last night when I saw the casket come out, and was hoping that it would be announced that it would be a casket match. It was cool when Taker popped up in the casket, but afterwards the segment went completely down hill. Given that Lesnar is leaving soon after WM, it seems unlikely that we would get the Beat the Streak twist.

The only two potential twists I see are
1) Cesaro/Swagger breaking up (I see the Real Americans in position to win the tag titles when Swagger costs them the match, leading to their break up). Although, like many have said, this is predictable.
2) As others have suggested, a great twist would be to have DB/HHH match end in a double pin/countout/something similar, leading to a fatal four-way. This could make the title match pretty epic.

The one GUARANTEED twist not to occur is the return of CM Punk. Guys, give it up. It is not happening. The man left. Its not a work. This story needs to "go to sleep."

What makes people think this Punk walking out thing isn't a work and follows are some of my reasons and what could happen at Mania if he is available:

The night he walked out in front of everyone backstage VKM and Punk have a creative disagreement but Punk already had his luggage and Vince always has creative disagreement meetings in his office
If someone is going to quit the day of the show you don't wait to the last second these scripts are presented to the talent at least two hours in advance of the show if your program has been changed from the start of the day
Punk has mentioned in the past he is obsessed with twitter but not a peep out of him since being off tv
His recent appearance on Talking Dead he has the same look he did at the Rumble so if you have moved on you would change they way you look

One of two things will happen at Mania:
Punk will make sure Bryan loses
Punk will help Bryan win the title and a new stable will form with Punk and Bryan and maybe a few NXT talent and the leader of this stable to create a power struggle with the Authority would be Roddy Piper
You know I've been thinking this very thing the last one month.

Also, every time Punk left a circuit like RoH, he always left after giving out a speech. WWE is the biggest of all the places he has worked. He would probably have a Ric Flair-type farewell when he finally does.

Furthermore, if he would leave, there would have been a direct statement from the WWE announcers or management.

Third, after Chicago RAW, many on the internet were deeming it a 'good sign' that WWE did not bury Punk the way they had done with Austin, Bret Hart and others in the past. The next week, they throw some hints here and there and BAM! internet media goes crazy about HHH and Stephanie is indirectly implying Punk.

Somebody (could be a whole team of people) from the creative dept. at WWE are definitely keeping an eye on the social media.

Punk will return at WM30 to break away the post-wrestlemania lull (What better way for attracting WWE Network viewers!) Or, he may come back at Summerslam.

Daniel Bryan wins his match against HHH.

HHH comes out in the main-event hits Daniel Bryan with a pedigree & then does the same to Randy Orton.

Batista walks out World Champ & The Authority No.1 man.

okay so I didnt get it perfect and takers arm wasn't broken and even I thought I was a little out there but I feel better now that I wasn't losing my mind and the gut instinct I had was correct.
