The Ultimate Sigski

Woo Woo Woo You Know It BRO!!!

That's right I'm back with a sig that comes to you all the way from Long Island. He is the Long Island Iced Z himself, Zack Ryder. I've been itching for a Ryder sig for awhile now and I tried to make my own, but it failed and I came here and that failed. Then I was suddenly hit with an image in my head and it portrayed perfectly on screen. So I figured I'd give ya a little rundown on this beaut.

  • First I started off with a black background. Then I added the Zack Ryder name logo on top of that, set on normal.
  • Then I added in four images of Ryder and spread them out with two on each side. All of which were set on normal.
  • I then added a blue and orange stock and set it on linear dodge to give what would eventually become my background some pizazz and differentiate it from my main render.
  • I then added a dot pattern on top of that on normal, fill set on 19. I then added my main center image of Ryder.
  • Next I added in the four sets of text, all of which were Happy Squid font.
  • Finally I finished it off with a border with the opacity at 51.

All in all it was a pretty easy piece of work, but I was really proud of it considering I couldn't get anything with Ryder to work until now. Any and all comments or criticisms is welcomed and encouraged. Enjoy my loves.

I tried doing it, and I came up with something a little different.

I followed all of your steps, but it was hard for me to find a good stock. So in the end, I just went with a red rose with black spacing in it. Also, I believe my dots are closer together than yours are. I'm not too happy with the color of it all, it seems a bit too dark on mine. Oh well. I love your work though.

Ah, man. There's so much I love about this. The background is great. The colours are blended really well, as are the images and the logo. It totally works. The pattern really adds to it, too. My only real issue is with the text. The font and the size are fine. The placing just looks a bit off. The main body seems a bit too close to the main image.

Apart from that minor problem, it is a great looking, glossy graphic.

One good site for renders that I used to use all the time is PSD-Dreams. You'll need to register but it's free and they've got a pretty good selection. Not necessarily for desktops and such, but they've tons of sig/avatar sized renders and they're all pretty well filed.

nice, i feel like its a bit busy though with 5 pics in the sig. Maybe use a clipping mask to blend them in a bit more. but thats just me, im more of a simplistic when it comes to PS.
