The Tribunal Finished With TNA

ShinChan

Gone. For. Good.
According to PWInsider.com, TNA Tag Team The Tribunal, Basile Baraka and Baron Dax, are finished with TNA after losing a strap match to Al Snow and Mahabali Shera on Impact Wrestling this week. The report notes the two left on good terms, and because one lives in France and the other in Canada, it was becoming too difficult for TNA to fly them in for events.
That's a bad news.

The tag team division is already shallow. The Hardyz and The Decay are only the regular tag teams left.

I hope that Total Nonstop Deletion leads to recruitment of multiple tag teams so as to deepen the tag team division.

I really liked The Tribunal and I love TNA.
But I don't care anymore!
When they will give me a compelling tag division with more than one story, and titles that mean something - then I will care when a team leaves TNA.

Apart from a tag team title match, The Tribunal was seriously wasted potential tag team.

Al Snow has been related to them since the start itself and all got was Al Snow & Tribunal Vs. Shera. Then Al Snow & Shera Vs The Tribunal. Of course the tag team is a joke if the booking is such bad. The feud just continued for ages, it seemed.

In my opinion, I don't think it was that big of a loss, they we're just 2 reject wrestlers that weren't good enough to make it in nxt and from what I've seen of them in tna, I understood why they got release in the first place.

The fact is that tna hasn't focus on the tag division in years and even with the hardy's as champions, the focus is more on the hardy's themselves then the championship so losing a team like the tribunal isn't a big lost.

Tribunal was try-brutal. They were bad. Basille was okay at times but Dax was awful. Dax Can't work in the ring and was terrible on the mic. There are a lot of guys on the roster who could be paired to make good tag teams.

For one, I thought before the DCC was formed that Bram and Trevor Lee could make a good pairing. Sutter would be a good candidate for a tag team.

I'd still like to see TNA bring in a tag team from outside. I think a team like Killer Elite Squad would be a good type of team to bring in.

The Tribunal weren't helping matters. They were a bad signing, and a pathetic act in general.

As for the division, yes it's very shallow, but not as shallow as you implied. They do have the Broken Hardy's, The DCC, Decay, and the Helms Dynasty at minimum.

Also Davey Richards is healthy and should be at the first tapings of the new year(I'm actually expecting the Wolves to be a part of the tag team Apocolypto match at Total Non-stop Deletion); and while hopefully Eddie's title run means we will continue to see him in sinlges, which should open the door for Davey as a singles guy(and he is easily a better singles worker than Eddie), I also expect we will still see the Wolves at least occasionally continue as a tag unit as well.

Perhaps with Andrews trending heel, we could possibly see him and Spud form a tag unit again, which would avoid what has been a wasted opportunity by TNA in my opinion as I think that they make for a great pairing.

So the makings are present for the company to have, while admittedly still slightly shallow, a fairly strong tag division if booked correctly even without signing an outside team.

TNA is losing some teams they should have kept the Tribunal going I also heard TNA is trying to get the New Bucks( Generation Me) in for tag team deletion against the Broken Hardys what a tag team deletion this will be

On December 3, it was reported that The Young Bucks had signed a new two-year contract, which covers both ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).

Young Bucks' involvement in this match is quite unlikely. Plus, even if they get involved, there's no chance that they start appearing regularly in TNA unless and until RoH and TNA form a partnership.

I had high hopes for these guys, but they were bred for failure. There was no real payoff to the Al Snow angle, and they were routinely fed to other tag teams along the way. If you're bringing in a team designed to be imposing, then they need to actually be imposing. That starts (and ends) with not having them lose every match right out of the gate.

The good thing is, given that they were never built up, there's nothing to really "miss", other than the opportunity they offered. But that's long since dead.

I hadn't seen much of their work in NxT but I did have quite significant hopes from them. But they didn't deliver. Or to be more specific, they weren't allowed to deliver. The angle with Al Snow and Mahabali Shera was a ridiculous feud which never came to an end. When it seemed to be ending, Al Snow turned face to team up with Shera thus leading to elongation of already stagnant feud. I had my all hopes crushed.

Then a ray of hope did emerge when they both attacked The Hardyz. But it was all a false hope. TNA does need a couple of tag teams. reDragon won't come since Kyle O'Reilly is the RoH World Champion now.
