The tag division

BRAT

Dark Match Winner
We have a full tag division but nothing interesting in tag storylines. I don't mean that there is no talent, however every feud is too simple. The worst thing a team can do to the other is cause the distraction..ooh how badass.

The New Day(c). They started as a promising team but they faded. I believed they would be an interesting union and the feuds would have valid structure. However,in the process they tried to be faces and they absolutely failed and now they are the champs in a heel mode. PG,they can't do anything with their gimmick.

Cesaro and Kidd. They matched with each other and they can win the gold again some day. Nothing to say about them. I'm looking forward to seeing them break up and fight each other.

The PTP. For months they have been making funny promos about every tag team but they have yet to feud with one of them. Nothing interesting as of now, just an entertaining team for kids. I would like to see them join the New Day.
Los Matadores. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Neither as heels, nor as faces. I recommend they fight each other and reunite or they get unmasked from another tag team and start a feud.

The Lucha Dragons. Fresh tag team, entertaining, crazy high flying stuff, but I have a question. Why did they were promoted in this time? I mean the creatives have nothing for them and the division is full. I believe that especially Kalisto could stay as a singles competitor in NXT for some more months.
The Mega Powers 2.0. I don't expect them to go beyond some humorous feuds. I would like, however,to see them have an interesting push and a storyline about the gold.

Eric Rowan and Luke Harper. Nice choice to reunite them. They were wasted as singles superstars. I don't know what the future holds for them but I like them.
The Ascension. I didn't expect them to fade as they were. In NXT they were devastating but coming up to the main roster they got lost. Rebuild them if you want to make them a viable champion solution.

The Usos. Jey is injured. They will return in some months and I am one of you who want to see them turn heel.

What do you think? Which team do you want to have a push and which one to break up?

We get 3 Hours of Raw and 2 Hours of per week. If the WWE want to put up a good storyline between tag teams its absolutely so very possible. It doesn't need to be a tag team turmoil or three way or four way. They can have two feuds just in the tag team itself.

I don't want Cesaro and Tyson Kidd to bream their team and fight each other. They'll become so irrelevant if their tag team is broken. Tyson Kidd is hell of a talent but nobody would care a midcard feud between Cesaro and Tyson.

Los Matadores are utterly dreadful. Bull fighter gimmick is awful. They better should feud with Lucha Dragons and that can elevate the Lucha's level in the tag team. A Mask vs Mask match would be an awesome addition.

The Ascension should feud with the reunited Wyatt family members. Crowd would certainly get under this match. It'll be a little clash of titans.

New Day, PTP and Cesaro-Kidd should have a three way battle PTP can surprise everyone by winning the title once and drop it back.

We aren't going to see the Usos anytime sooner than 6 or 7 months. So let's not fantasise about them now. And finally the Mandow-Axel can give the comedy rub to the division.

Cheers!!

The ascension need to be built as demonic bad asses they had that feel in the original nxt version
New day I would not change the gimmick at the moment is absolute gold they took the ball and there running with it
Ptp should not break up they will be the next big face tag team
Usos I agree a heel turn would work but only if they are built as the most dominant tag team in the division and are placed into a mega heel stable with Naomi tamina roman reigns and the debuting Samoa joe
Kidd and cesaro need to stay together for the moment I think if they break up there both done
Los mat adores change the gimmick pair them with Rosa again make the relevant or fire them simples
Lucha Dragons most entertaining fresh tag team they have my personal favourite
Harper and rowen I have to wait and see what they plan to do I see a wyatt family reunion
Axel and sandow should never have been paired sandow needs to be on his own he only got out of a tag team
Bring in the vaudevillians and big cass and enzo amore from nxt
If they want to pair axel with somebody pair him with orton but not as a tag team more of a mentor role sort of the way Riley was with miz
They need to make more personal storylines that last a few months with plenty of build

The Usos are the best tag team around but Jey is hurt and we will not see them til October. A heel turn and a third member mostly used as there manager and a distraction would make them unbeatable.
The New Day are not to bad they just need to win some matches without cheating.
Cesaro & Kidd should not break up, give them back the titles at Payback.
Los Matadores just terrible enough said.
Lucha Dragons are future Champions, I can see them feud with the heel turned Usos when they return.
The Accension I do not know what happened with them, maybe they need a manager or a change in there gimmick be more demonic.
PTP I like them give them a push and a future title shot.
Mega Powers 2 I am not sure what to think, they both would be better as singles wrestlers.
Harper & Rowan here is your future tag team champs they should win the titles at Elimination Chamber.

I like that Rowan and Harper are back as a tag-team, Rowan was very much forgotten about and Harper's push came to a sudden halt, not everyone is going to be a World Champ and some guys can make a career out of being tag-team specialists. These two are the best heel tag-team available.

There aren't really any teams I would split up. The division is finally growing and it will still need jobbers for the title contenders so I instead focused on who should be pushed or not instead of which ones I would split up. The WWE splits up teams WAY too fast, so I would keep every team from the threadstarter's list together for now.

The New Day
As much as I dislike Big E and Xavier, these guys have become worth pushing as annoying heel characters. I really like that they are using The Freebird Rule with their tag team reign also. Keep having these guys doing their great reactions to the fans telling them they suck. The PTP can join them and increase the stable's members.

Cesaro and Tyson
One of the best teams on the roster right now. Only two things need changing. The ambulance song has got to go. Give them an instrumental version of Tyson's music instead and also the bigger issue for me is they need to let Natalya be a contender for the Divas Championship! She can still be their manager while also being a worthy Divas Champion at the same time. Anyway, WWE should keep pushing these guys. They are awesome.

The PTP
I still don't get why these guys got back together. I like them better as a team, but their reunion was so random and their conflict never actually got resolved. Oh well, stranger things have happened in pro wrestling. I like the idea suggested by the threadstarter of having them join The New Day. They'd fit right in and could be enforcers while Kofi emerges as the leader.

Los Matadores
The tag team division needs jobbers and Los Matadores suck, so guess what they will end up doing? Keep them together but as jobbers for the teams who are getting pushed.

The Lucha Dragons
Another awesome team. Keep them together and push them as the great high flying face team that they are. Now that the division is getting bigger it might be a while before they get a title shot though.

Axelmania & Mancho Mandow
Comedy jobbers clearly, but unlike Los Matadores they are hilarious. I'd keep them together for their Mega Powers parody to see how that plays out.

Eric Rowan and Luke Harper
So glad these guys are back together. They were doing a whole lot of nothing by themselves. Now we just need to get them back with Bray as his underlings. They can be in the tag team division but also helping Bray again if the stable gets back together, this gives them more to do while other teams are contending for the Tag Team Championship (which they should win at some point)....

The Ascension
It is ridiculous how misused these guys have been! They should have been Tag Team Champions by now. I would keep them together and actually push them toward a title reign once they have been established as the threat anyone who watched them on NXT knows they can be.

The Usos
Yeah, it's no secret that I can't stand these guys. Now that the division is growing, they really don't need The Usos anymore. If they get back together when the injured one recovers then have them be jobbers. They aren't worth splitting up as they would be awful by themselves.

New Day: love their heel gimmick. Safe to say no one saw that kind of heel team coming along. They REALLY needed that win at Extreme Rules to show they weren't just a random heel team but a successful one.

Ascension: disappointed.

Kidd Cesaro: I thought this teaming was odd at first. Seemed like another attempt to just throw two guys together to make a team but this time it actually worked wonders. Seems like they're turning face and that's pretty cool. Although I love them as heels, a face turn will get the crowd cheering for them more.

Usos: everyone goes crazy for them. But they need a change. Can't do the same shtick for too long because it will eventually get old. A heel turn seems like an odd way to go but also most likely. Let's not forget they started out as heels managed by Tamina. Also don't assume they will turn heel because of Naomi.

Lucia Dragons: really intense and a blast to watch. Kalisto especially. I agree with what someone said about bringing them up right now. There are a LOT of teams vying for TV time and they can't give ALL of them time. Which brings me to..

PTP: gotta keep them relevant since they're back together now. Having them cut silly promos about the other tag teams seems like a great idea to keep the fans thinking of them without having them fight. Pretty lame but at least they're on TV.

Los Matadores: No. No. No. No. No. No. No. What was wrong with Primo and Epico? Representing Pueto Rico (I believe) without having to be stereotypical. Talented performers wasted being comedic acts that aren't even funny. Cept for that bull. Which is probably why they're still around.

Mega Powers 2.0: not too sure if it's confirmed but this seems like a cool idea to pay tribute to two great performers. I wouldn't have picked Axel to represent Hogan but they came together pretty well. I can see them having a good run and maybe winning the titles with an underdog story but for a one time deal.

Harper Rowan: I honestly never thought they had chemistry in the ring. Yes they're big. And it's obvious one is slightly more talented than the other. Just watch their matches. Harper usually dominates. I disagree with the idea to bring them together and kinda hope it sets up for Rowan to be written off to get rebranded in NXT. Harper excelled on his own and shouldn't be weighed down.

Being a fan of Tag Team wrestling I hate to say this but, WWE seem to care about the tag division as much as they care about the divas division.

when Cesaro/Kidd were champs they were heels while New Day were faces. Now that New Day are champions they are heels and Cesaro/Kidd are faces? (kind of similar to the random switch in sides between the Bellas and Naomi)

PTP have been insulting each and every team for the past 2-3 months without neither team confronting them about it. (and not once having a match on Raw or Smackdown)
They are over and has proven that they can get even more over with the fans if given the chance. I see them being the ones to defeat New Day down the line.

Los Matadores were last seen turning heel but later having a series of matches with Cesaro/Kidd (who were also heel) before disappearing. They need to get rid of the stupid gimmick and just be Epico and Primo(who though bland, I actually enjoyed watching in the ring they just need someone to talk for them).

Lucha Dragons "debuted" after Wrestlemania and hasn't been seen much since except for on Superstars. Kalisto is too enjoyable in the ring to not use them on a semi-regular basics. And they are the perfect answer to getting rid of Los Matadores and reintroducing Epico and Primo.

The Usos- One is injured, while the other lost to Harper and Rowan on Superstar with Ryder (or Slater) as his partner. The Usos needs something new when they get back that being a tweak in character or a heel turn.

Mega Powers 2.0- I wouldn't mind if it were Axel and Sandow(any wishful thinking of Sandow ever getting back in the mid-card have long gone(same with stardust)) but Macho Mandow is just horrible. Hopefully they can get over and have dropped the parodies at least within 6 months. (though I did like the idea of them doing a parody of a different team every PPV they are in or when they are number #1 contenders)

The Ascension/ Harper and Rowan- play similar roles, but one definetely is looked upon as a bigger threat than the other. Either take the Acension off tv and repackage them or turn them face to counteract Rowan and Harper.

I basically agree with everything Prince Vee said. PTP/New Day/Cesaro-Kidd feud, an Ascension/Harper-Rowan feud and a Dragons/Matadores in a mask vs mask tag feud could all be main feuds for the tag team division some time this year.
Also I feel with The Usos being on the injury shelf for at least the rest of this year the tag division needs an over "face of the division" team. Cesaro and Kidd are the top face team at the moment but they just don't do it (at least for me). Maybe Lucha Dragons but Kalisto's size may be a negative when going up against Big E, Rowan, and Harper.

Sorry but the only times in the last 30 years that the WWE tag team division have meant something was during the 1987-1991 era which ended when Hart Foundation split. Then again in 1997- 2000 when we had such classic tag teams as Owen and Bulldog, Dudley boyz, Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian and the New Age Outlaws. I don't think the tag belts have been worth anything since 2001 invasion angle.
