The Steve Corino Fan Club

Loads. He did one in England. A place where people go crazy for Funaki and Randy Orton headlocks.

Vs. Abyss 1PW show. Terrible match, as most barbed wire ones are.

yeah well it was against Abyss. who as you said has made thumbtack spots one of the most boring Single Handedly. But So has Terry Funk. He also did Japanese Death Matches so how is it any different from Terry Funk as the Funker is loved and Considered great for his days when he didn't bloody himself up to the degree that he did in ECW or even now. Steve Corino has put on some great matches in Japan.

yeah didn't Steve Corino get a great match out of Dusty Rhodes in 2000? But Corino has the mixture to work where ever he wants to now. If they want him to be the Champ he can be, if they want him in a tag team he does it. If the story calls for blood he can do it. if it doesn't he can do it.

i always thought that ecw missed the boat when he was "the king of old school", by not making a brand new belt for him. it would have been the "old school" championship, and the rules for title matches would be incredibly strict, maybe even using a couple of amateur rules. his promos could have cast aspersions on the whole hardcore style, and claimed that "you guys cannot win within a set of structured rules", then cheat behind the ref's back every time. it would have been awesome. i miss steve corino.

whu miss him. He had a great feud with Homicide in RoH. He Wrestles in Japan. He Wrestles on the Indy Curcuit and he opened his dojo in Philidelphia with his students competing in NWA3000.

Im Going to post results for Steve Corino's new Promotion up here. it makes sense since he is involved here as well.

3KWrestling Fighting Athletes debuted at The Loft At Limerick Golf Club in front of a super no vacancy and enthusiastic crowd and they were treated to some amazing matches but a few horrible moments including the turn of Ricky Landell.

In the opening match before the 8pm bell time, former ZERO-ONE United States champion Dr. X defeated Revolution Soldier Ryan Sawyer after a piledriver.

Dr. X seemed to be a little confused that the young Sawyer in his first singles match took the fight to him with an intensity that he has shown in the Revolution Puroresu Dojo. Afterward the young Sawyer requested a rematch with Dr. X on June 2 in Maple Shade, NJ and it has been granted.

Ring Announcer Bryan Reigel then started the "New Revolution" event off by announcing that 3KWrestling Fighting Athletes would return to The Loft on June 13.. Tickets available starting on Monday, May 12 through www.3KWrestling.com or by calling Gold's Gym of Limerick at 610-948-4088.

In the first of three qualifiers for the 3KWrestling Openweight championship Teddy Fine defeated The Monster C with loud mouth Eddie Uncensored by surprise at 4:58. Fine joins European star Ares in two of the four spots in the Openweight title match on June 13.

The popular Sweet Daddy Ebony outlasted King Kaluha and ten other competitors including Revolution Soldiers Dylan Page, Taj Mahal, CM Serenyi, Johnny B, and Professor Kevin Payne. All of the Revolution Dojo trainees did great and they are on to some big things. Afterward Mike Edition from www.3KWrestilng.com talked with Professor Payne and Dylan Page and they made a challenge to fellow Revolution Soldiers CM Serenyi and Taj Mahal to a tag team match on June 2 in Maple Shade, NJ. It seems there is some division in the ranks at the Dojo and Mike Edition will write about it more in the "Monday Morning Edition" on the website.

In a great 8 man tag team contest the tandem of CM Serenyi, The Inner Circle, and The Scientologist Tomas Cruz defeated the young team of GPS (B4W), Ashton Amherst, Sam Elias, and Revolution Soldier Professor Kevin Payne after Cruz hit the "Theta-7" on Amherst.

It was a great showing by all 8 men but the fans and more so then anyone Professor Payne was really upset at the cockiness of Tomas Cruz. Cruz started speaking from the "Holy Book Of L. Ron Hubbard" and accused the fans of being "unholy".

In a shocking turn of events Kid America and Ricky Landell defended the Premier tag team titles "successfully" against The Best Around w/Marcus King Kong Dowling and Mr. Man Mountain Mark Mest (5M). Kid America, who suffered a broken hand courtesy of Greg Spitz, Eddie Uncensored, and The Monster C two weeks ago, was at a two on one disadvantage when Ricky Landell was late getting to the building. Finally Landell did make and just in time, clearing the house, but tagging America back in and then stealing the win.

Then local star "Mr. Wrestling 3" Steve Corino was set to stop his three match skid against "Dark Horse" Greg Spitz but he couldn't have been ready for what was going to happen.

Referee Matt Bennett was injured for a moment allowing Spitz to hit his patented finisher, the "Rock Star Energy Drink" Cradle Piledriver but Corino backdropped him out of it, hit the Northern Lights Bomb and was ready to nail the Choshu Lariat for the win but Eddie Uncensored and The Monster C had different plans. C hit the ring with Uncensored's briefcase but Corino was ready and so was Corino's friend and tag team partner Ricky Landell. Landell grabbed the briefcase out of C's hands and held the case while signaling Corino to hit the Lariat but Corino hit the ropes Landell shockingly nailed Corino with the case. Corino was easy prey for Spitz's "Rock Star Energy Drink" Cradle Piledriver and is now 0-4 against "The Dark Horse". Afterward Corino confronted Landell in the locker room which will be made available on www.3KWrestling.com.

In the final 3KWrestling Openweight qualifier Ricky Reyes outlasted CZW's Sabian in an amazing match up of young, hard-hitting superstars. Both men brought everything they had the capacity crowd didn't know which way it was going to go but Reyes finally put away Sabian with the Brainbuster to win the fourth and final spot in the 3KWrestling Openweight title match on June 13.

The Legend King Kaluha showed the crowd and the youngsters in the locker room why he is a true legend by defeating the big and popular Sweet Daddy Ebony with the second half of the Kaluha Buster. The King was first treated with a warm welcome by the fans but they soon saw his ways and started booing him like he is used to. SDE might have been a little nervous but he didn't show it and gave Kaluha all he could handle but The King got the win.

And in the main event featuring the ZERO-ONE United States heavyweight champion Jake Manning taking on 1PW heavyweight champion and former 01US champion Sterling James Keenan. This was the first time that these two champions met and there was no let down. Both athletes fought tooth and nail but it was SJK that outlasted Manning submitting him with the Anaconda Vice to become the 15th ZERO-ONE United States champion!

3KWrestling Fighting Athletes will host the Revolution Puroresu Dojo Exhibition Series next Saturday afternoon, May 17 at 1pm at Gold's Gym, 70 Buckwalter Road, Limerick, PA. This is a free event.

Then 3KWrestling Fighting Athletes debuts at Brewster's & Laurel Lanes in Maple Shade, NJ on Monday evening June 2 for "War Before Raw". More details on Monday including announced matches.

"Burning Heart" is the next Loft At Limerick Golf Club on Friday, June 13. Matches already include the 3KOpenweight title match featuring Ricky Reyes vs. Greg Spitz vs. Teddy Fine vs. European Star Ares and more!

This sounds like an entertaining show. I can't wait to hear how it goes in terms of getting a TV or a DVD deal. The entire show promotion sounds like it is going to be fun and great entertainment. I also like the story developing between Ricky Landell and Steve Corino.
