The Steel Asylum Returns!

Uncle Sam

Rear Naked Bloke
That's right, bitches! Set your calendars to stunned. Set your watches to August 16th. Set your penis to painfully erect. The high risk, high reward, high impact, high xtremeness Steel Asylum makes its return.

This means more high-flying action! More high-flying action! More high-flying action! More high-flying action! And maybe Kaz.

But seriously, I'm sure this will be a great match. Just like the other two have been. It takes a lot to make a TNA crowd chant "This is awesome!"

Like any normal X-division match, it'll be fast paced and high spot filled action. I look forward to seeing as I felt the X-division has been down in terms of importance for a few months now.

awesome....just awesome...

should be a sweet PPV just based on this match alone...
looking forward to this bigtime now...

Yes these matches are full of spots and high flying moves over and over but thats entertaining, the X-division is very good and showcases a lot of good wrestlers....

I'm expecting an awesome spotfest with Sabin, Shelley, Suicide, Jay Lethal, Homicide maybe Creed, Davari(lol), Eric Young, Amazing Red....

Homicide to retain.....hopefully....

wait...Joe might be in it, MEM is prolly going to put someone in it and try for the X-division title but I hope they don't win....

The plan is to have Joe go after the X-division title, so he'll more than likely be in it. I don't know who would be champion going in as champ, but Joe will probably walk away with the title. These matches are always great and I'm looking forward to this.

I sense some sarcasm there Sam.Especially the bold part.

Now,I'm looking forward to this.Seeing as I love the ultimate x.It's going to be one huge fucking clusterfuck, and it will be great.Who the fuck cares if it'll be a spot fest,it will probably be the best part of the night.Like at slammiversary,I enjoyed the X Division King of the MOuntain match the most, more than the main event.

Now,who do I think will win, umm,Hoimicide I hope.He better.Unless they do a lethal on him,ie give him the title in order to lose it to further a different storyline. But I am predicting one thing that is for certain, someone will jump from the top of the cage onto someone.

Probably lethal with an elbow onto bashir.

I think the Steel Asylum will be a show stealer for Hard Justice. I have seen both of the Asylum matches on PPV and they were fast paced and action packed. I think Homicide, Creed, Lethal, Sabin, Shelley, Red, Young, Bashir, and possibly Joe will be in this match. But there are some wild card options too like Doug Williams, Daniels, and Kiyoshi. And maybe Suicide/Kaz will be thrown in. But if you guys have seen the TNA spoilers AJ Styles won't be in the World Title match.... so maybe he will enter the Asylum. I don't think this will happen but if it did, it would give this match a big name (besides if Joe or Daniels were in it)

I'm thinking Eric Young wins this year's Asylum match-up. He seems to be gaining a push, by way of bitching and moaning about not gaining a push at all. It seems fitting in a stupid kinda way.

Homicide is currently the X-Division Champion, and I have to admit - I had to look that up since I'd forgotten, and I just watched iMPACT! tonight. (DVR version) All in all, my guess is the normal X-Division crew will be present.

Shelley, Saban, Creed, Lethal, Suicide, Homicide, Sabu.. err, sorry, got caught up in writing all the "cides". I bet the World Elite will have representatives as well, but as I said - Young, if involved, will likely take it. Bashir has been X-Division Champion before, so I can't see him repeating. Young had a taste, but was stripped of it on the following show if I recall correctly.

This is Eric Young's match to win.

I'm going to agree with the above post. I think the X-Division title needs to stay away from the MEM, including Joe. Joe can fight for it, but overall the MEM should stay in the TNA picture, while the World Elite stay in the X picture. They seem to be going in similar directions, where the World Elite dominates the X-division and the "others" represent TNA. I like it because it involves a bunch of people in the same storyline, and they can get air time without actually being in matches. The tag titles can be the glue that ties all of these factions and remaining talent together. Eric Young should definitely get the win here.

First of all the X division is shot this will not bring it back.

second no freaking way

third what did it do for the winners?... let's see NOTHING?

last but not least no it doesn't!

Pft, I know this will be a useless spot fest, full of flips and jumps and what not but I'm still looking forward to it. I really don't see why TNA goes all out on this matches, since basically a guy could jump off the top rope and the zombies...I mean fans would chant "this is awesome".

It would make sence to have Eric win since he's getting a pretty decent push, or at the very least have him and Homicide start a feud from this match. Basically it will be another X-Division, gimmicky, spot match, that I will be loving more than the mainvent.

This will be a great spot fest. I think of this as TNA's version of the Elimination Chamber, and hopefully it will be just as entertaining as this year's Elimination Chamber.

First of all let me point out that I think The Steel Asylum match sucks...just sayin.

Now as for who wins I say EY or Joe. TNA seems to be big on stables right now so one of them winning it for their group. If not Homicide retains.

I can’t say that I’m looking forward to this match like I would look forward to a Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold match, but I’m looking forward to it nonetheless because of the spot-fest that it will probably end up being. These matches are always spot-fests and I doubt this one will be any different than the ones we have already seen in the past. It should be entertaining and it should be a clusterfuck but I’ll still watch it. As far as who is going to win it, I won’t make my predictions yet. Anything can happen from this time ‘til the pay per view and I don’t want to speculate anything until I find out who the wrestlers involved are. I know of some that will more than likely be in this match but you never know. I’ll be looking forward to the spot-fest that this match will be and I’m sure I’ll be entertained by it. It should be fun watching this match and I’m expecting some big spots.

Why do they announce this and not hype it i thought this was a big match but who's in it?

I hope Suicide wins just to piss MEM off and maybe make him unmasked. I like Suicide he desevres to champ, btw he sould never be unmasked.

The participants of this match are the Motor City Machineguns, Lethal Consequences, Daniels, Suicide, and "The Pope" Djaniero something or other, whatever Elijah Burke is going by. Why Young, Kyoshi, or Sheik aren't in this match is beyond me. The major difference between them and everyone in this match is that they were actually on TV on Thursday. I don't see why they can't be added, I'm sure that "deadly structure" could hold dozens of spot monkeys. As for the match, it is just going to be a bunch of high flying spots to make the fans say "wow." It should definetly be the opener. As for the winner, I'll go with Daniels as his matches with Joe in the past have been great and there aren't that many other choices.
