The state of the WWE

After viewing the Cena thread here I've realized just how awful the WWE is today. Ever since starting watching in 2001 has it been a less appealing show than now. The severe lack of new main eventers, terrible scripted writing with no depth, boring characters, plots with no reason that have randomly been thrown together and the worst 2 top boys in the history of the WWE (Cena and orton). Cena should be a rapper upper mid carder and Orton an occasional main eventer.

If the WWE pushed CM Punk, John Morrison, Del Rio, Sin Cara, Sheamus, Bryan, Kingston, Barrett, Swagger, Dibiase, Rhodes, Miz instead of spending so much time on Cena and Orton then they would be in a great condition.

Triple H told us that nothing else mattered on Mania other than his match. How the hell will that help? How the hell does it help to destroy DiBiase and Sheamus for no reason at all as well. Sheamus put him out for 10 months then got completely sh1t on.

Tell me why I should watch when Michael Cole gets more air time than CM Punk or Rhodes or Morrison. Where the hell is Morrison anyways? I'm so sick of random pushes that just end randomly.

Why the hell does Cena act like a 10 year old? What happened to wrestlers acting like real normal humans and not some maniac in red who runs to the ring screaming and talking about a load of crap and saying Miz eats poo poo? He's a hypocrite too. He says how much he hates roids and how much he'd never used but come on. He is the second biggest roid user in the WWE today (Triple H no.1). Not to mention he would much rather be the rapper. That is who he was. How can you compare a heel rapper to Superman?

end of rant but come on the WWE has gotten so sh1t it's unreal. I don't want to see cena vs orton again or mysterio vs del rio. Give us good talents in the main events. I won't be buying a PPV until things improve.

Because I love watching wrestling and have done for 10 years. I will always watch Raw and Smackdown but if the standards don't improve then I'll only buy RR and Mania along with the random free ones we get here in the UK. I want good matches and storylines for my money.

I understand why you would want to complain about a product you actually enjoy. I complain about the WWE and TNA all the time. But at this point, you're getting zero enjoyment out of watching the WWE. It's just not focusing toward your demographic anymore. Either you get over it and try to enjoy the show as it is, or you quit watching all together.

I understand complaining about certain aspects of the show, but you are hating on the shows fundamentals.

Over the Limit was free in The UK and I couldn't be bothered watching it. Even the replay I couldn't be bothered watching. I knew Cena, Orton, Kane and Big Show would all win.

Considering 2 years ago I'd stay up to 4am to watch most PPV's live that shows to me how poor it's getting.

Of course Cena is not bad in terms of that. Cena's a top 5 of all time if you base it on drawing power. I meant that Cena and Orton are the most boring, least entertaining, terrible wrestlers who are the top headliners ever. Rock and Austin and Hogan and Savage own these 2 idiots.

There are thing I enjoy watching though. Sin Cara, CM Punk, Mysterio, Rhodes, Sheamus, Morrison are all great talents. Especially Punk. He gets sh1t on every time by WWE. As of right now he should be the WWE Champion. Instead he's getting beat by Big Show and Kane and back with those new nexus clowns (Why the hell must they call it new nexus?)

I'll keep watching in hope that one day the good talent will shine.

Look at this years Mania. The people who saved it and made it draw were:

Taker
HHH
Snooki
Austin
Edge

Only Cena from that list has a long future. In fact 3 are retired and one will never be on the WWE again. Morrison and Ziggler got no spots barely. Why did they not have them take up most of the match?

Bourne, McIntyre, Sheamus, Bryan didn't even make the card. The apparant future the Corre got beat in a minute. Swagger was MICHAEL COLES personal trainer!

When there top line talent retire like Edge the WWE are truly fuked.

Sin Cara started like 11 minutes ago, CM Punk got his chance to shine, Rey Mysterio is a multiple-time champion, and is STILL in the main event, Sheamus is boring, and Morrison will get his time to shine when there's room for him.

Yet it still broke 1 million buy rates. These people were available to help out when the WWE is on a severely noticeable talent shortage, and the WWE used them. Granted, it would have been better if they replaced the Cole shitfest with a MitB match, but even so, these people were available to them, all but 1 are wrestlers, and therefore belong there, and it just made sense.

Who cares what kind of a future they have?

Just wait. Sin Cara will get his push stopped in no time. I guarantee it.

Sheamus is a hell of a lot better than Cena or Orton. How you can call Sheamus boring when Orton is out there winning every week makes no sense to me.

Punk got sh1t on. Think back to when he was a commentator for a while. Punk made it awesome. He was a fan favorite. The WWE should have turned him face while they had the chance and see where it went from there. Punk has the ability to do much better than Cena. Instead they kept him heel. Which isn't too bad because he started a feud with Cena at Mania time. A feud that could make him the top heel of the WWE .Then he slowly slipped to Orton. He still had a chance though. Until he got beat 3 times out of 3 by Orton. Now Kane and Big Show are kicking the sh1t out of him.

Where are Rhodes (pointlessly beaten twice by Rey), DiBiase, Ziggler (an ex WHC?), Swagger (an ex WHC?) and anyone else like Morrison?
