Jets kind of raped themselves a bit

The Jets/Pats game was a simple case of the Jets playing their worst football combined with the Pats playing their best. Not a single facet of the Jets played well, and not a single break went their way (not in terms of bad calls, but lucky bounces, things of that nature).
The Pats were the better team Monday Night. They now have the inside track at (yet another) division title. Thankfully they have a hard ass schedule, which means they can very likely lose a game yet, meaning if the Jets can sweep their equally hard-ass schedule they would be tied again. If not, then the Jets are headed to yet another Wild Card, which means no home playoff game.

I actually liked what Steve Young said this morning (Or was that last night?) of the Jets. He said (and I'm paraphrasing here) there was no leadership on the Jest team. There should have been some veteran screaming and yelling at the team to get their shit together....

I plan on posting in all of the EOY threads. Today was my last day of classes so I will most likely be getting back into the non-spam posting game.
I was never a big Carlos Pena fan. Hopefully he drives in enough runs to make up for his .200 batting average. I won't complain too much because The Cubs really needed a 1B and a guy who can hit the ball out of the park. At least he brings a great glove to the field.
Also heard they're going after Matt Garza. I would love to see him come to the Cubs.

Tell me about it. I meant to add Revis and I forgot. Pissed beyond belief about that.
Pena's a good player. He's going to drive in runs, and stop runs from scoring defensively. And I know it's not great, but he's a career .242 hitter, who's career high is .280. Even if he hits .250, with all the homers/RBI he gets, he'll be worth it. Plus the improvement defensively makes this a very good move.
