The Sports Bar

Theriot was the better half of the LSU middle infielders, but Hawksworth had potential. So at the moment it's all good, but we'll see farther down the road.

I can agree with that, but at the moment we need a solid backup / potential starting middle infielder more than an average bullpen guy I think. We do still need bullpen help though.

My boy is still Yadi.

I like Colby, but that quote tickled me in a happy place.

Oh stop, you're making me miss baseball even more.

It'll be here soon enough. Did you hear about the new way the Cards are doing tickets next year?

They are doing like the Blues are doing now, with the pricing based on who they are playing, what day the game is, etc.

For example, here is how the Blues' one looks:

So basically, Nationals tickets will be dirt cheap and cubs tickets will cost you your first-born child and an arm.

The Yankees and Mets have been doing that for a long time now. Others are too probably, but I know for a fact the 2 NY teams have done it for a while.

It's the right way to do individual tickets for an everyday sport, since some days/games are more valuable then others.

Yeah, I think I like it too. It doesn't seem to affect prices on Stubhub though. I got tickets for a Blues/Predators game the day after Christmas that are $52 for $28 each so not all hope for cheap tickets for good games is gone.

Stubhub is the secondary market. The teams don't have anything to do with Stubhub.

And your non-problem of $52 seats for $28 is cool. Unfortunately that's not usually the case by me. Sometimes they can be cheaper, but they can also be more expensive.

From what I've seen is that it varies quite a bit whether tickets are cheaper or more expensive on Stubhub. I've always gotten them cheaper, but have seen them more expensive a time or two.

I will attempt to. Some clown is trying to argue with me saying that LeBron has no talent and did nothing for the team or the city while there. He's a sraight idiot.

Exactly. They make it difficult to want to post because their stupidity just frustrates the fuck out of you. I was in semi-agreement with Sly's OP, but after dealing with this dumbass I agree 100%.

I went to Cleveland for a week not too long ago and damn those people are burnt from that shit. Even people I talked to that weren't basketball fans at all had a few choice words about Bron.

I havent been in the stadium for a while now. I posted on the Colts-Chargers game a few days ago, but other than that, its been at least a month. My posting has slowed down drastically. I might have to step it up and weed out the noobs.

I'm sure they are pissed about the way he left and all, which I can see. But damn time to let go. And while they may hate on him now, they can't deny what he did for them.

And speaking of which, he has now red repped me, not for what I said in that thread, but what I said about him here. I was told to watch my language and actually pay attention to what he was saying.

Well, TJChurch, bring your ass in here and try to explain to everyone how untalented LeBron is. Or how how he hasn't done shit for your team or city in the 7 years he was there. I'm inviting you here.
