The Sports Bar

Been in a good mood ever since my Hawks took out the Magic last Thursday but that mood may fade tonight I'm just hoping they can keep it competitve b/c I damn sure don't want the talk of another blowout sweep.

I, along with many people, underrated the Hawks and overrated the Bulls coming into the playoffs because of how they finished the regular season. The playoffs are a different animal and the experience factor plays a big role. Many of the Bulls players have never gone past the first round and the team as a unit has almost no playoff experience. The Hawks have gone to the playoffs 4 straight years with pretty much the same team and they've gone to the second round the last 3 years. They have a huge experience edge and they aren't afraid of the Bulls. Chicago seems to still be in regular season mode and they need to step up the intensity or they could be in trouble. It's just one game but this needs to be a wake up call for the Bulls.

As a Hawks fan, I know I damn sure doubted them going into the playoffs, but man it's nice to see them playing the way they have in the postseason so far. I know Grizzlies fans can relate.

This is a terrible day for the NCAA Tournament and NFL Football on CBS.

Gus Johnson and CBS parted ways. The story is talking about him maybe going to Fox for college football, which is ridiculous (they don't do enough college ball for our Gus Johnson fix). He should immediately become the #2 NFL guy on FOX. Or at least ESPN hire him as the primary NCAA Football (and basketball) PBP guy.

The past just comes back to haunt Ron Ron. This season has truly been a changing of the guard in the NBA. Out with the old (Spurs, Lakers, Celtics) in with the new (Heat, Bulls, Thunder)

Well the Spurs are already out so there's that but it's not suprising that OKC has gotten this good. The only thing they have to do in that city is play basketball.

Just saw that hit Artest did on that Mavs player. Wouldn't of happened if home boy was taller, imo.

Ron Artest is a coward to the truest since of the word. Take the Detroit brawl for example... Ben Wallace pushes the FUCK out of him, and what does Artest do? Run away like a little cunt. However, when some 5 foot 6, 150 pound geek looking motherfucker in the audience throws a drink at him, he attacks them. Pure fucking coward. And Artest has always been like that.

Anyways, I'm loving this beatdown Dallas is putting on L.A. Hopefully they can get the two at home and make this a sweep. It'll be glorious.

I will be too if the Hawks can pull out the Ws. I hope Josh Smith read the article about him taking too many dumbass jump shots. I haven't been this excited since I met Steve Nash last November.

I'm guessing you don't consider yourself a coward, so let me ask you this: If Ben Wallace pushed you what would you do? I'm guessing you would literally run away (which btw is not what Ron Ron did). Ron is one of the must thugged out nigs in the league, I guarentee if you ask NBA players to make a list of dudes in the league you just dont fuck with, Artest will be near the top of the list.
