Watching MLB Network and something strikes me as strange. They're discussing Hamiltion winning the MVP and Plesac said the right guy won but the voting should have been a lot closer. I find it funny because Plesac is basically saying more people should disagree with his opinion. If you have an opinion why do you think people should disagree with it?

Plesac was 100% right. It was a close race, and as such the results should have been closer. Hamilton was not the MVP by a landslide as the voting would make it seem. Robinson Cano had just ad good a year, and Miguel Cabrera had just as good a year (on a worse team).
And Jose Bautista getting a first place vote is pathetic. And guess who voted for him? A TORONTO writer. Same with Cabrera.

Josh Hamilton wins the AL MVP. I'm not surprised, but I think it should have been a bit of a closer vote.
