The special mentions...

Well it is time again for the slammy awards, and time to honour those who have been pulling more than their share of the weight this year. But I'm sure many of you get the same urge, that there are things that happen during a year that can't be summised into a category. Sometimes there is one individual moment in a year that was really good to us and nobody else, something that you may go back and watch often because it lodged itself so firmly in your memory banks. This is your oppertunity to give a special mention to something someone did this year which isn't going to be appreciated by a slammy award, but in your mind it probably should be.

This is particularly dedicated to the WWE roster of talent.

For me it'll probably be santino for relentlessly brightening up the show when it was getting a little too dark, dank and humourless, summised by his english tea party segment which had people asking if santino was the best entertainer going in wrestling right now!

If I had no name something a little more serious, I think I'd opt for the daniel bryan and michael cole segments, two weeks running they kept me on the edge of my seat, awe inspiring work.



With out any further ado, someone you'd like to give a little special mention, go ahead..

Yeah, ok - I'll give you Santino...Santino segment with the Tea Party was by far one of the Highlights of the funniest segments in WWE history (one of them)...

On a serious note, hmmm...I don't know, I'm going to have to give a nominey to The Miz cashing in on Orton...Everyone in the stands practically that night were on their feet!

 

[The Showstopper]

Ok, i'm going to name a match,that should be recognized as match of the year but probably wont..Bryan vs Ziggler, Bragging Rights..i mean this match literally had me on the edge of my seat, even though i'd seen the results beforehand..the crossbody was SICK! made me cringe in my seat!..i must already have seen the match like 10 times, but never bores me...for me this match has to be it.

Now im not 100% certain my moment was this year but im fairly sure it was. Im going for the shooting sta-rko. I think in years to come this will be seen as on the same level as THAT superkick to Shelton Benjamin in terms of a one-off spectacular moment. Also, the Santino tea party was probably the most amusing segment ive seen in quite a while.
