Mid-Card Championship Winner
The Rock last defended the WWE Championship on Sunday, February 17th at the Elimination Chamber PPV.

Traditionally, if a champion doesn't defend his championship within 30 days of his last defense, he is stripped of his title. Last time I remember the rule referenced was here (For those who don't want to see the video, Sheamus says the 30 day rule is part of WWE's rules and regulations).

Anyway, 30 days after The Rock's defense will be Tuesday, March 19th. If he doesn't defend the title before then, he should be stripped of the WWE Championship.

What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure that rule only applies when they want it to. His next title defense is already set, if they were really going to apply this time they would've set it at an earlier date. Unless he's going to have a title match done time between then and now which would be pointless since we all know he's going to face Cena at WM.

This is professional wrestling, not MMA or boxing. Rules like that don't apply to pro-wrestling unless they're specifically mentioned for storyline purposes, like the match that you posted a link to. For example, kayfabe wise, hitting someone in their nether regions is a disqualification, but there's been many times where its has happened right in front of a ref's eyes and they've done nothing, but if it was already pre-determined that that superstar was going to lose that match via DQ because of a low blow, then that rule would be taken into effect and that person would be disqualified for storyline purposes. In other words, unless the WWE purposely reminds us about this rule and makes The Rock defend his title on Raw (Which is highly, highly unlikely) then that rule doesn't matter. Hell, jumping off of the top turnbuckle is technically a DQ but people do it anyway.
