The Remarkable 80's Bar and Grill

Money for nothin, chicks for free
Hi, I'm Jeff. I'm still pretty new to WZCW but I'm lovin it early. I'm very active and on every day ( sometimes for long periods of time due to complete boredom )

I'm one of the oldest humans here and will engage in all topics ... Like movies, games WZCW and whatever. So come on in, grab that neon bar stool and relax. If you want to ask questions, go ahead. It's a bar, just wanted my own place here.

Watching - The Next Three Days - if you have not witnessed this smart thriller you have to stop what you are doing right now ( even if involves your job, tell your boss you have to go home ) and watch Russell Crowes best movie ever. It's a bit old (2010) but it's excellent.

Fantastic movie. IIRC, it leaves you with a cliff hanger as to whether she actually committed the murder, right? Of so, then yeah, great movie. Full of tension and a great story.

I'm curious what you thought of my character and the development I've already achieved in the random RP thread

The KC Connection Express Brothers

That's a mouthful, but eh it would be you guys' team lol. KC Connection has a nice ring to it. Or KC Express. Idk why but I think The Remarkable Ones isn't too bad a name either.

Have fun for sure. I truly enjoyed my time in the tag division. It is a trip.

O.K, Ahem....my first ever review of anything in WZCW. The review is for the character Anthony Mancini, now with less B.G.

Personally, I have a soft spot for anything Italian. I just think Italian men and woman have this natural charm the second they open their mouths. So it's easy to hit out an Italian accent while reading all the characters in the RP. I think you should incorporate the accent in the text a little more to give the illusion that they do have that heavy Italian accent.

I think Anthony's sidekick Gino should have his first name altered as there's already an Italian in WZCW by the name of Gino... he's this pizza guy who has delusions of beating Mark Keaton awhile ago.

This is obviously a continuing story with the character so I can't really give a final review on the story as a whole but it seems solid so far. Anthony ( like a lot of mobsters on T.V ) values his family and I think his father can play a huge role in the future of Anthony down the line. EX : His father demanding that he throws his match to win a large bet or something along those lines....would be a very unique dynamic to his character and the RP's as well. A son trying to escape the overbearing shadow of his father, with a sidekick who won't let that happen....I think you have a wide open field of possibilities with Anthony and his sidekick with his father always on the pulse.

In my first few RP's as the new guy on the block I went a little over the top with the insanity. I took all the feedback and I'm learning from it. Now in my next RP I'm going to have to back dig a little as it seems a bit too crazy that Mark Keaton beat up a cop to escape jail and was responsible for the death of another cop during a car chase. It wouldn't seem plausible to have a guy on the roster like Keaton who is a wanted criminal for the death of a police officer. lol, I wasn't thinking about that when I wrote it. In the same vein, I think Anthony is in the same boat as it ( SEEMS ) like he's killed a guy with the bar explosion and maybe has plans ( OR ALREADY HAS ) killed the only witness...but you could also argue there's no evidence he killed anyone.

I think Gino Galucci and Anthony Mancini almost certainly have a destined collision in the future. An easy feud to write if Gino Galucci's writer would approve of it, even if it was a quick one off match. Potential for great RP's between some tough Italians.

The following is from my favorite mafia movie .....

Henry Hill: You're a pistol, you're really funny. You're really funny.

Tommy DeVito: What do you mean I'm funny?

Henry Hill: It's funny, you know. It's a good story, it's funny, you're a funny guy.

[laughs]

Tommy DeVito: What do you mean, you mean the way I talk? What?

Henry Hill: It's just, you know. You're just funny, it's... funny, the way you tell the story and everything.

Tommy DeVito: [it becomes quiet] Funny how? What's funny about it?

Anthony Stabile: Tommy no, You got it all wrong.

Tommy DeVito: Oh, oh, Anthony. He's a big boy, he knows what he said. What did ya say? Funny how?

Henry Hill: Jus...

Tommy DeVito: What?

Henry Hill: Just... ya know... you're funny.

Tommy DeVito: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

Henry Hill: Just... you know, how you tell the story, what?

Tommy DeVito: No, no, I don't know, you said it. How do I know? You said I'm funny. How the fuck am I funny, what the fuck is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what's funny!

Henry Hill: [long pause] Get the fuck out of here, Tommy!

Tommy DeVito: [everyone laughs] Ya motherfucker! I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering prick ya. Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning.

Anthony Mancini is O.K with me, man!

I sent Jam a PM with an idea for a feud but he turned it down...for now I hope. It is something I would love to see in the future.

As for Gino I could always switch him out with Big Vito Corleone to nix any confusion with Jam's character.

Thoughts on Theron and his Merry Band Of Misfits?

Before 2000...

Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo. I only say this because I how much friggin time we played the damn game. A bunch of us got together and made tournaments and had some huge laughs with this game. Simply the most fun I've had playing Nintendo.

Modern....

You could also put ALL TIME here too....

Grand Theft Auto V - There's no game in history that can even touch GTA V in terms of scale, entertainment and sheer fucking joy of one character. The character is obviously Trevor. Nothing like changing your character from another guy and the camera zooms back into the clouds, you've changed to Trevor and when the camera zooms back in he's....

- Waking up on a beach with women's lingerie on, a few dead bodies scattered around him

- Waking up on the roof of a building in his underwear

Those are the best ones, every time he has something hilarious to add to the situation as well.

Plus GTA V continues to eat away at my time online. I've become slightly obsessed with collecting cars and trying to make money for my online creation. The GTA V Online experience has been unmatched in how many things they continually add to it. It keeps the game fresh with new cars, clothing, full map random event challenges...some are really fun. All free of charge and no stupid micro payments to unlock anything. Unless you want to actually pour real money into the game to get fake money to save time.

Another top contender is NHL 14. The best sports game ever made. I've poured a ton of time into the game with approx. 4500 games played in total. Super fun Drop In games everytime. NHL 16 is good, but missing the charm NHL 14 Drop In games had.

Theron is the super face of the WZCW. Hopefully sometime down the line Remarkable Mark Keaton can hit him with an illegal object he smuggled in his trunks and get the 1,2,3. Honestly only read Theron in his matches alone and don't have a full grasp of his RP character yet. But I will read his in the future. As for Dagger, he seems like a cool chap who enjoys the classic Final Fantasy games before they turned into real time battles. Ah why can't they go back to that?

Or you could spell it as Geno with your character. That's the way a certain Super Mario RPG character spells it!

Had a lot of fun with that one myself back when I was a kid. I prefer the 64 and Wii ones myself, but have a lot of nostalgia for the original. My biggest problems I had with it were the items that computers got that you couldn't, and those annoying predetermined "orders" that the computers always fell into depending on who you picked. Unless you exposed a glitch in Bowser's Castle 3 on 150cc that completely screwed up the "orders" for the rest of the race.

He sees everything as if it was taking place in a D&D setting, hence all the Theronisms. His girlfriend Tiffany plays a Paladin named Kirilah in D&D, so Theron sees her as Kirilah and refers to her by her character's name, for example. D&D's world IS his reality. In real life I'm 6 foot and have long brown hair (as long as Sephiroth's) so Theron would see someone with my appearance as an elf. Someone with a long beard he might see as a dwarf. Stuff like that. There's not much else to it, but definitely check out the RP's as you would like the Final Fantasy and Zelda feel that I try to add to them.

I expect they will when they realize what a mistake every game since FFX has been.

That could work but the more I think about it the more I think using Big Vito would further the alleged arson/murder storyline I got going as well as the storyline with Agent Henderson.

Plus I like paying homage to The Godfather every time I use him.

That's something I'm kind of ashamed of....

I've never seen Godfather 1 , 2 or 3. I always get flack for it too. :icon_neutral:

I've seen pieces but all 3 are at the top of my list to Binge watch at some point in 2016.

The homage is in the last name I gave him. Corleone is the Main Family's last name in the movies.
