Square Enix shows Nintendo fans a little more love by bringing FINAL FANTASY to Virtual Console with this week's update.

As of today, you can hop on the Wii Shop Channel and check out check the lineup to find FINAL FANTASY for 500 Wii Points -- a total steal for long-time die-hard FF fans missing the good ol' days.

Accomodating one player and rated "E for Everyone," the first FF title visits a once vibrant world now in peril, abandoned by the four elements. A prophecy reads, "When darkness veils the earth, four Warriors of Light shall come...." And four travelers emerge, each possessing a crystal. The rest, as they say, is history

I would have 100% got this if I hadn't have already got an emulator of it. Such a great little game, And the starting place for one of the most recognisable francises in the world.

It's the game that TM lusts over, And for good reason. Instead of having pre-determined classes, you could choose what classes you wanted.

There's one thing to remember about the VC, there's a lot of games on teh American one that's not on the European one and vice versa.

Now on topic.

I feel these mediums are really good, it gives younger people the chance to play older games such as SMB1 etc, the VC is pretty good for releasing previously unreleased games. What I mean by that is for example we've had the real SMB2, SMario RPG which was never previously released in the UK. Good effort.
