Well, friends, have we ever had an exciting week at Lounge headquarters. First and foremost, I need to pimp this for the hundredth time today. The Cigar Lounge Debate League has begun play. If you are a competitor, your debate is up. If you are an interested spectator, go check it out. If this one is successful, I will run it again very soon. It doesn't have to be annual.

Also, whenever Sly comes into the Lounge, he brings something special with him. He has proposed an idea to improve test scores, or fund school districts. Either way, we are all winners!!!
Let's improve No Child Left Behind, and boost America's test scores!
I think it's odd that it seems to be OK to make fun of white males and Christianity, but everything else is offensive. Disagree with me? Here's your chance to call me a jackass.

Thanks to everyone for making and posting in these threads. You guys have done an unbelievable job making the Lounge the best NWS on the boards. Without you guys, the Lounge would be nothing, so thanks.
This weeks featured posters are the competitors in the CLDL. I hope we get half of the response TM did with his league. We have some amazing and brilliant people competing, and the conversation is likely to get heated and we are going to learn something new. Thanks everyone.
Since I usually post some of the featured poster's work, I am going to post the link to the subforum again. I sincerely hope everyone gets over and checks out some of the debates during this and the coming weeks.
