Atleast you get to go to work. It snowed today so I was unable to do my job, and I haven't been getting the work I am used to lately anyway. It is maddening.

Yeah there is a tv. I may throw in the new SCSA DVD when I feel like leaving the kitchen. I'd much rather be three floors up in my apartment, can't complain. It is easy money, though I'd much rather do stuff than get paid to do nothing. You'd think it would be the opposite.

That sucks man. I really shouldn't complain that much. At least I have a steady paying job that pays the bills. To think I've only be here for a little over a year, it feels like yesterday that I started.

Aren't Utah winters usually pretty terrible weather? Or is it just alot of snow?

My probem isn't the money, as when I am getting steady work, or extra work during the summers, I get paid more than I actually deserve. The problem is that I enjoy my job and sitting around and doing nothing for over a week like I have drives me insane.

So we pretty much have three working regular staff members here. What I mean by regular is ones that work days. We have another night guy besides me. Side story, he wanted to know if I was gay cause he had a crush on me. My sister said I had a girlfriend (not the case) and my brother in law and sister's friend were unsure of my sexuality.

Back on track. We have another lady in training, hopefully she gets the complete training soon cause we will need her. So of the three workers my mom mans down the most hours, she is a machine. Then there is the other lady, who is damn awful yet we need to keep her around since we are so short staff. Well she decided she'd get hernia surgery on the 16th of this month and will be out until Januray 16th. She did this all so she didn't have to work Christmas. So we will pretty much have two people covering the 7a-10p shifts until the new lady is trained. My hours will look like this most likely. Sunday (7a-10p), Tues (3p-7a), Wed (1p-7a), Thurs (4p-7a), Fri (3p-10p), Sat (5p-10p). I'm really hoping I'm not gonna be stuck with nightshifts along with the day shifts.

Long story short, once that new lady gets trained and my sister returns from her back surgery (sometime this summer), that lady needs to go away forever. And by that I mean fired.

I hear ya there. I had off for an extended period of time a few months back and I just couldn't wait to get back to work. I'm so accustomed to working that any time I'm off for more than 3 days I go stir crazy.
