Yeah I hear ya JGlass. There use to be this awesome cheese steak place about 15mins from my place and it was freaking incredible. Best cheese steak Ive ever had (and that's including the joints in Philly). Shame they went out of business. The fucking pizza shop owner lowered all his prices because they were stealing business from him right after he heard that the owner's wife had cancer in her brain. Low blow, but business is business I guess.

Damn, that is a big time low blow. You'd like to think small communities would lend support to people in that type of situation, but I guess money is more important to some people.

On a more positive note, I can't believe opening day is on Thursday! I just did a little fiddling around with my fantasy lineup. I'm fucking stoked dude.

I can't wait for Friday. My best friend got off for the weekend to hangout for Mania and the Phils game Friday. Fuckin' stoked. Just hope we can stay healthy.

Better now than towards the end of the year. It does worry me a bit, but Utley's injury concerns me more as there is no real deadline for his return. Contreras or Madson should do a decent job at handling the closer duties until Lidgey gets back.

It doesn't really matter though as it is the Royals year. They dominated spring ball and it will obviously transfer into the regular season, and then the playoffs.

I'll probably go to a Mets game or two over the summer when I'm home, but I doubt I'll go to any Red Sox games. It's difficult to get good seats at Fenway because it's always sold out and most of the seats that are available suck. I don't know if you've ever been to Fenway, but instead of facing the seats towards the plate, they face them straight forward, so you have to bend and break your neck in order to see the plate. Also, there are pillars all over the place, so sometimes you can't even see the plate no matter how hard you try.
