Peach has Stockholm Syndrome. She's grown attached to her abuser and kidnapper. Daisy realizes that she can comfortably take control of the Mushroom Kingdom when Peach is off being "kidnapped." She knows that it happens so often, it's basically like ruling the kingdom anyhow.
Valentine, they were the ones shooting for reality, I'm just questioning what dude follows around a broad that almost gets him killed 5 times and thrown in jail in the 24 hours he's known her. It's an odd movie.
