Are you of a faith that was trashed in the film? I see you're from Utah, and I know he spends a few minutes talking about Mormonism.

I'm not trying to offend here, as I know plenty of people from Utah aren't Mormons.

Oh I forgot to mention, there was no commentary at tonight's show, but Justin Roberts received gm emails on his cell phone.

I'm not Mormon. I'm non-religious. He goes over the line a little bit, I mean... Mormons are just regular Christians... I've grown up around them my entire life.

I'm finding it funny that former Mormons, like Tal Bachman (big fan), are spending a good portion of this interview defending a faith that told them to take a hike.

Oh, here comes Bill talking to that Jesus Miranda guy!!!

The major difference between Mormons and other Christians is that Mormons don't date until they're 16 and they do not believe in the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, thus they don't have the cross in their temples. I've attended a Mormon Temple a number of times, it's not a cult/brainwash type of thing that people think it is. That would be the FLDS church and they split from the LDS church YEARS ago.

Okay, this will show a shade of ignorance on this subject, but what does FLDS stand for? I know LDS is Latter Day Saints...

Fundamentalist Church of the Latter Day Saints. They believe in Polygamy and in marrying little girls and shit. You've prolly heard of Warren Jeffs... their leader.

Oh, okay. So they're not all like those guys? That's cool. But, I can't help but wonder how they can claim to be of the Christian faith, whilst denying the cornerstone of said faith?

Ah, well, I'm probably reading too far into it. I mean, at least they aren't Gypsies. Which leads me to another rant:

Why the fuck would Bill Maher dedicate an entire film to ridiculing religion, yet not mention the two oldest forms in history? Paganism, and Hinduism?

FLDS isn't legal in Utah. They're centrally located in Texas. Well Paganism is insulting pretty much every religion because it's the root of all religion and Hinduism isn't really that weird.
