The Online Late at Night Thread

Yo forget Wu-Tang, a girl im startingto like, said i have a nice voice and that she misses it.

Do NOT forget Wu Tang.

Big L, Gang Starr, Canibus, Onyx, Nas, and some Jay-Z.

That is fucking awesome, I want to meet you. Big L is the shit, he would have been world fucking famous if he hadn't of died, Gang Starr is amazing, Canibus is a crazy bastard, Nas is only one of the best lyricists ever and Jay-Z's old stuff is fucking incredible.

You don't fuck her with your voice, it's the most unimportant aspect of a man.

Not the most unimportant, sometimes a sexy voice can get a bitch going. Just look at Isaac Hayes (bless his soul).

Even truer story: I haven't the foggiest fucking idea of what you two are on about right now. I'm assuming some hip-hop music, with the blam-blam (or whatever you kids are calling it these days), running around your arcade parlors, eating of the pizza pie?

dont forget their damn yo-yos, stickball, and all that other tomfoolery children are up to these days.

Yeah, it's a rap group... Wu Tang. They're amazing. What kind of music do you listen to Dewey?

Lulz. I know who the Wu are. I'm just not terribly fond of rap. Turrible music. And, I'll listen to pretty much anything, save rap and mindless drivel like Beyonce, Ke$ha, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of pop music, but mostly the stuff I grew up with. Oh, and shitty house music. Can't stand shitty house. Love good house, good techno.

Due to my training in radio, television, and a bit of videography, I've got an amazing speaking voice, sometimes. I can just switch it on as soon as I clock in at the pizza place, and it does indeed get a few of my female friends going. However, away from work, I use a standard eastern Kentucky accent, peppered with a stereotypical Cincinnati accent. Very odd sounding.

Dewey is bored. Usually, I'd read a book of poetry after going this long without TV, or research random stuff on Wiki.

Somebody entertain me. Where's ChiHawks?

So, I found one of my books that I forgot to box up. Finnegan's Wake, by James Joyce. I will attempt to get past page ten without falling asleep.

Wow, boring shit really. A day off for me. Picked up some new salon equipment, and found my old Mick Foley books in hiding, so I took a quick read through them. I used to be such the Foley mark.

Funny story, but I love to read. One of my favorite hobbies. But for the life of me, I HATE novels, save a few. What's the point of reading, if you're not learning something in the process?

My problem is that I am picky. So picky in fact that I couldn't begin to tell you what I like in a read. I've enjoyed some classics and some shit in my time.
