The Nature Boy Shoots On Orlando Jordan's Boyfriend

You know, he might've been drunk, but Flair's got some serious issues. He's always getting into fights and it makes it seem like he's lost his marbles.

No we dont, but what is seen looks bad, simple as, again what would you do if the shoe was on the other foot, you would be threatening legal action against the company if the guy wasnt released.

To be honest I most definitely would not. I despise the compensation culture and would never attempt to force another person out of their job.

I take your point that even if the situation has been blown out of proportion etc it could attract some negative publicity for TNA, but to be frank I don't think the major media outlets would give it the time of day.

According to ProWrestling.net, Ric Flair and Orlando Jordan's new on-air male companion got into a confrontation at a bar after the Impact tapings on Tuesday night.

According to the report, Flair saw the male companion dancing at the bar and got so upset at him being there and being in the TNA locker room in general that he got in the guys face and verbally unleashed on him.

Apparently Jordan's male companion was so shaken by the exchange that he decided to just leave the bar.

Oh oh...

Here is my opinion. Jordan is open, wonderful. Do that on your own time. I don't mind if someone has a sexuality problem, just keep it to yourself and don't do angles like this. If you want to do story's like this, go join another TV show.

Flair's problem? He's latent. C'mon.

The lisp, the flamboyant robes, the womanizing? Typical of the closeted gay man.

Would explain why he hates so many wrestlers. None of them wanted to ride Space Mountain.

db82, take a good look at your comments and tell me if you're not exhibiting classic signs yourself.

Oh, that's just great. Somebody expresses an opinion that doesn't side with the gay guy and so they are accused of being gay themselves. How original. Come on, man. Grow up.

Pat Patterson was openly gay and so were a few others. Maybe it wasn't being homosexual that angered Flair. Maybe it was a lack of respect for tradition, toughness, or class that angered him. Not to say that Flair has any real class in life, having slept with hundreds of married women, been through 3 divorces, etc... but he does portray it on TV and I think he does truly think he's defending the honor and tradition of what was once a brotherhood. In a small way, I get that. I don't hate gay people at all... but I admire and respect truly tough men in the world and even though it's not a popular opinion to have... I do believe that some measure of manliness is needed in certain professions or aspects of life.

A lot of guys can't stand Cena because of his lack of athletic ability, genuine toughness, and because he traded in any sort of true grit or rugged manliness to cater to 8 year olds and their moms. Now, that's good business even if I can't stand the fact that it's so damn see-through but nobody seems to be able to see through it. However, this new thing takes it all a step further. I don't know if it's right or if it's wrong... but this angle and this young man in particular are both going to alienate a LOT of the older crowds if they get any more attention than they already do. Right or wrong, my grampa will stop watching as soon as this thing catches his eye. I think Ric Flair knows that and agrees with it... again, right or wrong.

A lot of people have mentioned legal ramifications and gay rights at work legality and that if it was in another line of work that flair wud be sacked but people are not remembering one key thing, it happened in a bar out of work so there should be no formal action taken against flair for whatever happens out of work.

Theres that word ignorant! The funny thing is that every time somebody has an opinion that is different than the bleeding heart liberal or PC they are accused of being ignorant. I bet it wasnt even about the guy being gay. I bet it was because the guy was prancing around like a fairy being loud obnoxious and flamboyant. I am not intolerant against gays and I'm all about all men being equal, but Ive been to bars and other places in public where some flamboyant man is being obnoxious because "thats just who he is" and thats a BS cop out. I am not a homophobe but I find people that act like that very annoying and anyone who is annoyed by that has the right to say something without being afraid of being scrutinized by a bunch of bleeding heart crybabies.

Okay this is getting way out of hand. Obviously you hate liberals and the whole PC thing going on. I must admit the PC thing is quite annoying and I wish we wouldn't have to worry about being politically incorrect.

You say that anyone who is annoyed by that has the right to say something. By the same token he has the same right to act that way. It's not equal if everyone has to conform to the same way of acting.
If I think smoking is an annoying habit, do I have the right to yell at everyone who smokes just because they smoked... no they have the right to smoke.

who's to say this was even about him being homosexual?

The Report States

- Orlando Jordans boyfriend was dancing at a bar

- ric flair Verbally assaulted him

- Orlando Jordan's boyfreind was so upset he left the bar

Not once dose it say what they were fighting over, or why. Hell He could have been yelling at him for dancing like an idiot while employed by TNA, Orland Jordan's boyfriend could have been acting like a fool at the bar, and Flair set him straigt, he could have been spoiling future storylines, he could have been doing a million things, drunk at a bar that would have been bad for the buisness. It never once stated flair ripped into him about being homosexual. People always assume the worst, nobody know's what happened except for the people in that bar that night. No point in discussing such a cloudy matter, same thing happened with the Randy Orton Scene a few months ago where he "spit gum" in a kids face, which turned out to be pretty much false. People were talking like Orton verbally berated this kid and spat gum right into his face, and it turned out to be blow wildly out of proportioin.

I don't know what happened that night, but there is no use discussing it and gossiping like little school girls. If it's a big deal more reports will come out explaining what exactly happened, but to jump to the assumption Flair was Gay bashing at a bar is a little pre-mature.

one thing you need to know, ric flair gets pissed at any small detail that effects the wrestling business in a bad way because he's in love with it (or he won't be in TNA). Him, Orton, Triple H, etc..
Alot of people see it in a bad way but for me its the opposite, Comeon do you want to have a reputation that a gay worker in a wrestling company is at a bar, DANCING! Same when orton kept shouting "stupid when Kofi woke up its good that they care and seek perfection

Flair is just generally a really horrible man, he has many real personal feuds, and he had no right to do that, he was enjoying a night out and it got ruined by that dick flair.

Ric Flair is kind of building a new reputation as a hot head. What is this.. his 4-5 altercation this year? Ric needs to calm down and just worry about booking tickets to Space Mountain.

I suspect Ric Flair had a little too much to drink, was looking to start something with some younger talent, saw Orlando Jordan, and targeted him. Easy thing to say to rile him up would be making fun of him for his boyfriend. Can't really say, but many older gentlemen are homophobic, and that is what probably happened.

Can't say much, Flair is a hot head, flair was probably drunk, and he is probably a homophobe. He because explosive in that situation, something that probably has come up before, but never ot this level. Hopefully he apologizes.

Yeah but any women who ride Space Mountain nowadays get a complimentary diamond ring on the 3rd finger of their left hand. Then a divorce settlement a year later.

The more I think about this situation, the more it seems like that for whatever reason Ric Flair lost it with Orlando's boyfriend, it was just a case of Flair picking on a younger, non-wrestler co-worker. Whatever he did to piss Ric off, probably wouldn't have pissed him off if a fellow wrestler did it.
