The Muta Scale

Uncle Sam

Rear Naked Bloke
Does anybody actually use this? Anybody actually know what it is? 'Cos Kurt Angle got a good 0.8 going on iMPACT!.

Muta scale, a scale to measure the amount of blood lost by a wrestler in a match. The scale goes from 0.0 (no blood loss) to 1.0 (corresponds to the amount of blood lost by The Great Muta during a 1992 match against Hiroshi Hase, during which Muta performed what is widely hailed as the most gruesome bladejob of all time).

Maybe it's just because I haven't seen the match in awhile, but I don't remember Taker's bladejob at No Mercy 02 being that gruesome.

He gets hit in the temple with the steps and he starts squirting blood.

why is the scale 0.0 to 1.0, why not a 0 to 10 scale?

anyway what would would Vince's Buried Alive match with Taker at Survivor Series 04 be?, gotta say at least a .75, or .8, that dude got busted up pretty bad, and if I remember right happened pretty early in the match too

If you mean New Years Revolution 2007,yes that was pretty bad.Sickest thing is he didnt even blade.Unless there was one at NWO 06,I dont remember.

0.1 is a low rating. It was against Mysterio. He had, like, a little patch of blood on his forehead. Looked pathetic.

Oh,I misread that for 1.0. I said New Years Revolution 2007,in the tag match with him and Edge vs DX. He was really gushing then.

I've seen the Muta match once, but from everything I can remember, it doesn't compare to Chris Jericho in this match from Smokey Mountain Wrestling.

I've seen that match a few times before, and if that's not worse that Muta, which I haven't seen or at least don't remember, I'd be amazed.

I just watched Muta/Hase match today, and I can say while that was a great bladejob it doesnt compare to Ortons accidental hardway at NYR 07.

What about Michaels vs. Y2J (rest his soul) at the Great American Bash? And is it possible to determine the average amount of blood Ric Flair has lost via blading over the years?

Why's everyone trying to outdo Muta's match? It's called the Muta Scale, we're not changing the name.

Speaking of Angle on impact this week, that was hardway with the ladder, wasnt it?

im pretty sure it was bc he left a freakin pool from like the top of his head after he hit
